Good NOT agree more with JayKay! I am already starting to feel the pressure. I guess at some point you should remember to have fun. Also, be prepared for a little lag time from some of the more popular resorts with regards to getting information from your WC; especially if you are planning during a busy month for them. I have become frantic many times and in the after math am realizing that I should calm down a little bit; it's still hard to do so though.

Well, I am a person who likes to be in control of everything but doing something abroad, I knew I would need help. I have been working with Teresa, and she is amazing. Tammy, the host of this website, has some EXCELLENT reviews. For me, a TA has been able to help me narrow down my options to fit with my budget, negotiate with the hotels for better room rates and I have only been planning for a few weeks now! Happy Planning!

Policies are different for site visits from resort to resort. Sometimes, you can negotiate a site visit, for free or reduced rate, when you plan your room blocks. I'm not sure about before you have secured room blocks though. Happy Planning!

Hey all! I am in love with this site! Anyway, I am awaiting the credit card authorization form so that I can secure my date at Dreams in May 2012. This is been an exciting and very frustrating experience so far and I have only been planning for a week! You guys are amazing and I have already started gathering so many ideas and advice for the many different aspects that make up this wedding. I have been working with TA Teresa and I am pretty sure I have already started getting on her nerves because I send like 5 emails a day. Magda, the WC doesn't seem to be very responsive. I know they are coming off of a busy month but there are some things I a have asked her to get to me that I need in order to make a final decision about the venue and she hasn't. She has responded to my emails but she hasn't answered the questions I have asked. I have scoured the website and gotten a lot of information but can't seem to find exactly what it is I am looking for. So if there are any 2012 Dreams Brides out there, can you answer a few questions for me: 1. Are you working with Magda? If so, is she at times non responsive? 2. Are any of you doing a la carte with the basic package? That is my plan but Magda told me that if I do a la carte I can only choose from the basic menu. I asked her about paying an upcharge to chose from the Gold menu and she said the gold menu is strictly for the Ultimate Package. 3. Do you guys have an approved vendors list? I want to go outside for cake, photography and flowers maybe. I have been looking into some of these vendors and I know that Dreams will charge an outside vendor fee but Magda said there would be no fee if they are on the vendors list, but she didn't give me the list. Geez, I am so sorry about how long this got!! And, congrats to all the brides!!! Alana

Where are you getting married? I have a 12K max budget too that I would hope could include flight and hotel. Anyone have a sample budget. I seriously can't find one on here.

I am a 2012 bride as well and also have nothing set in stone yet. Right now the date is supposed to be May 25, 2012 but I have to wait until the beginning of next month to make sure my babe's orders don't send him somewhere else. I am so excited and am definitely getting married in Cabo; I just don't know where yet!! I am narrowing it down and this website has been SUCH a great help.

Love this site! This has been such an overwhelming process but it has been made so much smoother with this site. I have not secured a venue or any vendors but hopefully it will happen within the next few weeks; I have been looking at a lot of places with Dreams Los Cabos and Riu Palace as the front runners.
