Hey Brenners! I went to another appointment today too and I'm still dress-less. This is the 6th store I've been to. I have it nailed down to one in particular that I keep going back to and ironically, it seems to be in most stores I go to! Maybe it's a sign! What are the dresses you're considering? Are they all the same style? I know we'll find dresses eventually! Hang in there and have fun with it!

Thanks girls! I feel better knowing I'm not the only one having this problem! Sharon99, I'm at the stage that I'm thinking about going myself too! None of my bridesmaids are married yet and I feel like they think I'm nuts! haha The search continues!

Alright ladies... I'm having dress stress!!!!!!! I've been to 5 stores and I'll put on a dress that I really like... I go home thinking this is it! And then decide that there's something about it I don't like! I really haven't got that feeling of "This is the one"!! Can anyone relate? I think I may be over thinking and I have to order soon! I'm not sure if I should pick one that I really like and could deal with or hold out for that perfect dress that doesn't leave any doubt! I'm starting to feel bad about dragging my bridesmaids to all these stores!! haha

I'm pretty sure if Randy complimented a dress I had on I'd be sure it was the one! haha Also, tears from mom is always a good sign! I went to another dress store last night and I keep putting on dresses that I really like but I still haven't found one that feels perfect yet... Maybe I'm over thinking it. My mom is coming from out of town next weekend to shop so I'm hoping that will give me the push I need to finally pick something! Ironically, we just decided to book Misha as well! Over budget but worth the splurge! I'll make up for it on some other aspect! Next I'm going to start looking into florists! Are you finding all the prices comparable? Do they tend to be cheaper then Tai Flora?

Hey! I've been going back and forth with Misha and we've decided to book with her! I've been talking to her about the basic package and she said she doesn't work with a second photographer for that package... I"m not sure about the others! She's great at responding so I'm sure you'll hear soon!

I called around to a few different agents... I found most wanted me to go in person to get quotes. I got my first set of prices and they were too high (I was starting to look for alternative resorts) but I just kept checking in with them every 4 weeks or so and eventually hit the jackpot! I wouldn't feel silly checking in once a month to see if rates changed at all! The agent shouldn't mind checking into it if she wants your business! We originally got our first quote last November, I checked back periodically until we finally booked in April and the agent assured me most people do this to get the best rates possible! Good luck!

I'm sure you can do it!!! Just think how great you'll feel once you've reached your goal! Maybe try to break it up into little goals between now and you're date so it doesn't seem so daunting?? I found it easier to focus on losing 5 pounds at a time vs. 20 or 30...

Hey JenK! My friend and I did a half marathon (about 22k) together 2 years ago and it was so rewarding! Having a training buddy really kept me motivated! The running room has running groups geared towards all levels if you don't know anyone else running. We ran about 4 or 5 days a week (one day a week we'd do a long run adding on a few kms each week until race day)... You got this!

Hi Starrysim! I'm also having commitment issues with the photographer! Good to know that she is a bit negotiable. I booked the trip around April. I can't remember what I was quoted for the Beach but for the Suites I was quote $1550 tax included, double occupancy, all inclusive out of Toronto from Saturday to Saturday. I believe the early booking bonus was around $250/ person... The price for a single room was a couple hundred more. Guests have to put down a $200 deposit now and then remainder is due in October. I had to search like crazy to get these prices!

I also went with the Suites based on Trip Advisor reviews and the fact that guests will have more options for restaurants, lounging areas, etc... Both hotels are supposed to be fantastic though and I think I read somewhere that the ceremony site on the beach at the Beach side is actaully a bit nicer.

I would love to see them as well!

Hey Ceecie! I'm so jealous of your Kleinfelds trip! Please tell me you got to see Randy Fenoli! I checked out your dress on the Maggie Sottero website and it's gorgeous. I'm looking for a similar shape but haven't found one that is quite right yet! Other than booking the resort, dress shopping and looking into photographers, I haven't done much planning yet! It's going to be a busy few months ahead! How's your planning coming along! I've yet to hear from Nicole... If I get a response I'll post the info about the birth certificates. I'll give her a week and then try calling. I'm thinking she's pretty busy! Congrats again on the dress!

Hey Ceecie... I'm also getting married at the IRHS, January 18, 2012. I LOVE Say Yes to the Dress! How was Kleinfelds? Which dress did you end up choosing? I've emailed Nicole about the Birth Certificate issue and haven't heard back... Have you heard anything?

Ishaef - Beautiful! How was it wearing lace on the beach... did the bottom get ruined in the sand? How was the wieght of the dress?
