  1. Sorry, I was wondering has anyone one dealing with Renee Phillips, if you have been able to get a hold of her yet?
  2. Krystina, you make a very good point. I checked out "etsy.com" and just searched for silk wedding bouquets and they are lovely! I'm going to do what you are doing. I agree, I really don't think they will grab it out of our hands. Dymond6 - it's been a month? Yikes! So, with 40 guests are you going to have Beache's so called private dinner/reception? Do you have an idea of how that area will look like? I just find it a bit hard to gauge as I'm just trying to picture it all in my head. You have to make sure everyone is fairly entertained. Did you have to pay for the 40 headcount upfront? That was one of the questions I am waiting on a reply from Renee for. Bride2Be143 - Did you opt for the mento band at all? By the way, are you guys all using the resort's hair and make-up artist?
  3. By the way... Do you guys have a big wedding party? I'm still deciding if we need a dance area, there will be about 20 of us all together. Any suggestions?
  4. I actually emailed Renee the other day with a bunch of questions but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I was just thinking of using long stemmed cala lilies for my bridesmaids either from a third party vendor or find really good looking fake ones. I didn't see any one - long stemmed flowers in the selection Renee had sent me. I'm actually shocked that Beaches said you can't use third party vendors. It's quite disappointing.
  5. Dymond6, Floral Fantisies, is this a third party vendor? Beaches is allowing you to do that?
  6. I will definitely see you! Only 6 months and 2 days for you.
  7. Hello, I'm new to this site and am getting married on December 2, 2011 at 3pm. We've opted for the Seaside Serenade theme. We've had our first session with Renee Phillips and are now going over all of the options and add-ons with the "private dinner/reception" and things seem very pricey. Hoping you can help me... I'm a little confused as to what is the difference between the 30 minute reception after the ceremony is, you mentioned you had your first dance then. My understanding of a couple's first dance is usually at a reception after dinner on a big dance floor. Does Beaches do the reception before dinner and this is where you have to have your first dance? Also, you said that you had gone to dinner at the resort restaurant, was this for your entire wedding party or just you and the groom. I've been trying to understand if the only option for dinner is to have a "private dinner" where you have to pay additional $ for the meals and tables or if the restaurants can be reserved for the entire party as it is already an all inclusive resort and we'd like to keep it as casual can be and spending less money would help.
