So Yamina emailed me today telling me she got promoted and will now be working at a Secrets resort as of June 17th. Sooooo my new coordinator is Lorena. My wedding is in 35 days. Yeh that's my plan...in my carry on to try and bring the flowers. I am hoping I don't have to divide them up between my family since I only have one invoice for them for customs. Oy...I can tell this will be the most stressful part!

Sure, Rachel! I can send you copies later on today once I am home. I am not sure what the actual bags are costing yet. My fiance works for CHOP and they have a "gift guy" they use so he went through him. I will let you know what the cost ends up being. Each bag is around $15 without the embroidery. We thought it'd be special if we put last names on the bags for each room. The single guys going get a book bag with their name on it. I went to the travel section of our Bed Bath and Beyond and Target and got bandaids, mini advils, mini tums, tissues, aloe, mentos, hmmm some other things I can't remember and we are putting them in little travel cases I ordered online. We also a filling travel bottles with biodegradable sunscreen that we ordered online in bulk for our excursion. In Mexico, when you snorkel they require it. It's so expensive in the gift shop so we're giving everyone some. It has a label that says "Lindsey & Kevin's Magic Sunscreen" on it. I got Do Not Disturb signs customized for our wedding. We also had water bottle labels made and will add water bottles to the bags as well. Then the hotel is going to do a room drop for them. All of the customized labels and signs came from Etsy. If you'd like, I can track down the actual seller for you.

Crap! I do have Table #s...Bridal party got their gifts at my bachelorette party to save having to bring them!

We booked through Liberty Travel. We didn't receive an incentive, but we toured the resort and loved it! We are booked in the honeymoon suite because we had enough people book through our TA for an upgrade. Our first invoice said $9,900...but it will be added to. I am thinking we can do it for $12,000 max but that doesn't include our week long stay. Hope I helped! So we leave for Mexico in 34 days and I am starting to figure out how to pack. I am nervous. Besides our clothes we need to bring down... -My bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, and corsages/boutonnieres -Sand and sand ceremony kit -Wine stopper favors -Beach towels for OOT bags -20 Embroidered OOT bags -Sunglasses for OOT bags -All of the other contents of the OOT bags -Welcome letter, itinerary, guest book mad libs cards, and programs -Cake Topper * "I Do" letters -Starfish place cards -Menus -Gown, jewelry, shoes, etc. -Kevin's wedding day attire I think that's it but it's very overwhelming! We are also flying US Air direct but we will have to pay for our bags, I believe, so that sucks. I am hoping I can do it by Kevin, myself, my mom, and my dad all taking an extra bag. I will check the boxes that the favors and beach towels are in. They will count as bags...then I will try to get the rest of the things in two bigger suitcases. My main concern are my flowers. Does any one have any suggestions on how to bring down silk/real touch bouquets? I don't want to check them in a suitcase for fear they will get tossed around and ruined, but I will if I have to. I thought about putting them all in a carry on bag. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't believe how soon my wedding is!

We're taking our group on a catamaran trip. We got some prices online by googling Cancun Snorkeling Trips but we decided to wait until we get down there. There are people in the lobby that will assist you with booking these things.

They put them on for you but do not charge.

That is a lot. We originally quoted our guests $544 for a limited time if they reserved with $50. It did go up but not more than $670 for 5 nights. Granted, ours is in July. Your are doing it in their high season. Just remember that the people who really want to go, will go. I suggest making a wedding website and putting the info on there. Ours is in my signature. Did you bring home your Sand Ceremony vase? How did you keep it from getting mixed up? Did you carry it on the plane? Congratulations!!!!

My groom is wearing nice linen khakis and a white button down with rolled up sleeves. The guys are wearing the same khakis but with an aqua button down. Flip flops, too. We're pretty casual.

That's so cool, Melissa! We got engaged in June at two resorts down from Dreams...then went to look at Dreams for the wedding. Crazy coincidence
