March 27, 2012 St. Thomas, not sure which beach yet. Progress: Cruise booked (we are getting married on the cruise, St. Thomas is the first stop, and we are getting married on the beach ), wedding coordinator (Island Bliss) booked, and that's about it! Slowly getting there, 300 days!!!! <3

FI and I just booked our cruise for our wedding/honeymoon. We are getting married in St. Thomas on the beach It is just the two of us, I guess you could call it "eloping", but it's planned! We chose a USVI because of the ease to get married there. I hired a WC there on St Thomas (Island Bliss) to help with all the arrangements. FI and I thought about getting married on the ship, but think on the beach will be amazing!!! Congrats to you, and happy planning!

Hi LindseyM! We just booked our cruise and WC (Janelle w/Island Bliss) for March 2012! We are getting married in St. Thomas on Mar 27, 2012.....so excited!!! We are getting off of the ship in the morning and getting married on the beach. Trying to decide which beach....maybe Lindquist, but not sure yet. I can't wait for our cruise!!!

I initially signed up on The Knot, but it is disappointing, and they do not cater at all for destination weddings! Currently checking out mywedding.com. I am looking for a website that is free! Thanks for the suggestions!

Etsy is a great site for ANYTHING!! I've purchased everything from dog collars to jewelry, and have not been disappointed! It's a great site for unique or personalized gift ideas too!

Great ideas! I am actually lucky enough to have 2 AHR's! One in PA where I grew up (my fiance's family is in VA so they will go to the PA AHR) and one in CT where we live. The one in PA is going to be in my mom's backyard with tents and tables/chairs. We will have a beach theme to incorporate our wedding that will take place in St. Thomas. The one in CT will probably be at one of the beaches, possibly renting a pavilion or a beach house for the weekend. So excited!!

Yes! Whenever I'm in the elevator the lighting in there is just right, and it sparkles away! I catch myself looking at it ALL the time! While I'm staring at it, I normally think, "I can't believe I'm getting married!!!!" and it makes me smile all day!

Hi Ladies! I am a Spring 2012 bride (St. Thomas!) and I recently did the 17 Day Diet, and I lost 15 lbs! That was only in 17 days too! I would highly recommend it for those of you who don't like to exercise or can't. Good luck everyone!

My fiance and I are having a DW with just the 2 of us, and I could not be more excited! I grew up in PA, moved to CT after college. He grew up in VA, and moved to CT as well. We both have relatives all over the country, so when we get back we're going to have a party in PA and one in CT. Our family will be attending the PA party, so it will be more formal. We will probably rent a venue but label it as "party" and include photo albums from our cruise/wedding and try to bring the beach/tropical theme with us! I even want to get a small tiered cake that will be our wedding cake! For the party in CT, we are looking to rent a beach house for the weekend or have a BBQ on the beach for all of our friends. It will be much more relaxed, but fun! I hope that helps!

My fiance and I are planning an Eastern Carribean cruise for Spring 2012 (Most likely departing Mar 24th) and plan to get married on the beach in St. Thomas. Any other brides with the same idea? I initially looked at getting married through the cruise line (Carnival) but the costs are insane! I started looking at companies on St Thomas, and came upon Island Bliss that I think I will end up going with.

Hi Ladies! I am getting married in Spring 2012, and am looking to lose 20 lbs before then, maybe more! I recently just lost 15 lbs on the 17 Day Diet. I have NEVER been a fan of diets, but the weight was literally falling off!! After the first 17 days were completed, I started eating my normal foods, but incorporated everything I learned while on the diet, and I'm still losing weight! Our plans are to take a cruise, and then marry on the beach in St. Thomas. I've read so many great reviews on Island Bliss, and am leaning towards them, but open to any other suggestions! Thanks
