  1. I finally posted my review! You can read it at http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/products/adventure-weddings-las-caletas/reviews/7380 Hope it helps!
  2. I absolutely loved my bouquet! (photos taken by Photoshoots Vallarta, excellent photographer!)
  3. So what I did was a playlist for every moment (seating, bridesmaid walk down, my walk down, cocktail hour, first dance and the dance party) and I had also written it all down just so no one would be confused lol. My brother said that he just had to queue up the songs and show the guy which ones to play and the guy took care of the rest. It didn't sound like my brother had to do anything and was able to enjoy his night. But I would prepare someone to be in charge of it just in case because Blanca did tell me that I would be 100% in charge of music. And yes the boat director announced everything for us (bride and groom entrance, first dance, dance, cake cutting, fire dancers, lanterns that we brought). They were so organized. I was blown away! If you need any song ideas I still have my list and can e-mail it to you if you want. Have fun planning!
  4. LaLa116, That's exactly how I felt. We only had 1.5 hours of dancing also (even with the extra hour!) so we opted for the ipod. I was pretty worried about it but it was perfect. I would do it all over again. I had a DJ friend mix the songs together though so there were no breaks between the songs and it flowed nicely. I think someone mentioned you can get an ipod app that does this too. Blanca said that I needed someone to be in charge of the music so I had my brother....but I honestly don't think he had to do much..I think the guy that is in charge of the sound system helped out. We also did not have an MC so the boat director was ours and it was great. Everything went so smoothly. Hope this helps!
  5. Girls I did it! Got married on the 21st of April and it was AMAZING!!!! I will post a review soon but for now all I can say is that you have absolutely noting to worry about. Loved every minute of it!!! Blanca went well beyond my expectations. Just gonna post a pic of my makeup because I know that's one thing I was worried about after reading some reviews. I had two hair and makeup guys come and they were very prompt and we had lots of time for them to do my three bridesmaids hair and my hair and makeup. I rarely wear makeup so I was hesitant on getting the airbrushing and fake eyelashes. But I think it turned out great. Also since I don't wear makeup I asked for something romantic and not dramatic. At first I thought it was too much but my bridesmaids assured me it looked great and once hair was done and dress was on it would look complete. And it did! Here are some pics so you can see for yourself. Oh and for my hair it turned out nothing like how I wanted but everyone else seemed to like it. I liked the front which was the most important for me so I was fine with it lol. All three of my bridesmaids hair looked amazing.
  6. I just found out that because my wedding is on Sunday the hair people come to the island in the morning with me!
  7. Happy Bride 13, Glad to hear you had a beautiful wedding. Just curious if you could post some pics of your hair and makeup when you get them. I'm a little worried about hair and makeup. especially since we are starting an hour early... I would hate for him not to show up on time! Thanks and Congratulations!
  8. Ya it does seem like they will be somewhat separated from the others but I'm hoping it'll still be ok. I'm getting married this April so I can tell you for sure when I get back.
  9. Hi Imah, We are having 75 guests and this is the set up they sent me. Table 9 and 10 are not under the roof top and when I did a site visit they were actually on the other side and next to the second buffet that is also not be under the roof top and not seen on the map. I think it will still look great though. As for the lighting, we're actually starting an hour early (can only be done on Sundays) to avoid it getting too dark too early for photos...and to add to the party time!
  10. Branya, Love the photos. Congrats! Just curious how much did the chuppa with flowers cost? And did you have to pay extra for the table with flowers under the chuppa? Thanks!
  11. Hi girls, what time does the ceremony start? I'm doing it on a Sunday and starting an hour early and my contract shows ceremony time starts at 6:15pm and I can't remember if that is my actually start time or if thats the old one. Thanks!
