I got my shout wipes on Ebay, as they were the best price i could find and unfortunately i won't be going to the states prior to our wedding.. . minimus.biz has better prices but by the time you add the shipping charges eiik. mind you, maybe it would be better if you bought other things with them?

am!! that's what i am doing for my decoration too!! i bought 6 large starfish from ebay.. ( which came to me perfect!) and i bought some Aqua Blue and some white, organza material .. i am going to tie the starfish ( with fishing wire) to the arch over the fabric. simple but awesome i hope!! I have turquoise chair sashes i purchased from a BDW bride, and i will use those for the chairs. I was thinking about doing the small starfish to clasp at the bow as i think it looks awesome,however i am worried about packing yet one more breakable thing in my luggage hahah so i think i might just keep it simple and not do that part.. we decided to do aqua blue. turquoise and white as our colors... the two different blues was more of a bridesmaid dress mishap.. and other things not coming in as they appeared on line so we have to change it to incorporate the colors but i think it will work out!! i am not super fussy.. and frankly as long as they don't clash i am good...the ocean and beach will provide enough beauty.. people will barely remember the rest of our decoration

So i got my Mom a Pashmina, and I found a seller on etsy who makes really cute starfish necklaces.. i think the sellers name is onemaker or something like that.. anywhere they are silver.. and sooo nice!! so i bought my mom and my FMIL one. My Dad loves pocket watches, so we got him a starfish pocket watch.. or rather a pocketwatch with a starfish charm on it lol...I was also thinking of doing the hankerchief with the poems on it.. but i found a website that has all different types of writings, and so i was thinking of just buying some nice hankerchiefs and then typing out the lovely poems myself, and putting them in the box... if you want a copy of those poems and such lemme know i can email it to you.. there are tons!! just a way to save a bit of money yet have something nice and sappy for a keep sake Ooohh i will have to go and check it out... i was in swimco a few weeks ago too at the mall and i didnt really take much of a gander, with me still losing weight i am trying to wait to the last possible time to buy clothes lol... i LOVE the idea of the tummy hugging stuff!! That's awesome am! I got 11 of them for 100 bucks plus tax ( 105 total).. so i basically got one for free too.. i like the quality of them.. and i liked that they had a ton of different colors I think i might go back though and get some more hahaha we will see! once i have final numbers i will see if i end up going back to get some basic colors to give to every woman, or if i will just stick with the Mom's and bridal party etc..hahaha we will see... and as for the bikini part BAHAHAHAHA.. THIS body will never be in a bikinni again.. lol i wish!! kudos to you ladies who can still pull it off hahah.. I will be on the hunt for some new bathing suits closer to the time i am going to leave..

I got them off of ebay, from a seller by the name of " anyname99" and it is for the business " florida shells and gifts" the shipping was pretty fast and shipping prices were decent. and I had no issues getting the starfish delivered from the states to Canada with this purchasses.. or the starfish i bought from oriental trading either.. hope that helps!

Soo i heard back from my TA today... and i am SOOO happy!!!!!!! i get the upgrade to executive class ( which i already knew as i had that from the start) AND i get the 1 free trip for ever 26 peeps booked!!!!!!!!! that soo made my weekend! below if her exact email paragragh pertaining to that portion.. now i kept the totals in there of the amount we receive however please keep in mind that every trip is different cost excluding or including upgrades etc.. so this may not be the amount that you would receive... i just want to make that clear hahah SOOOO the long and the short of it is: it really does not hurt to ask your TA!!!! like mine says below, they didnt have it posted anywhere.. so you need to ask if it is not mentioned.. make your TA look into it!!!!! it is soo worth it!!!! Hi Jennifer, Air Canada Vacations said that you do receive 1 free for every 26 passengers booked! I apologize for this since they never had it on any of the contracts and they had to search for it. The total credit is $1914 since it does not include taxes. This amount is sent to you by cheque after you travel. It is done this way in case any guests cancel and the total amount is less than 26 then I have to ask you for an extra $1914. It’s a nice bonus to receive when you get back from your wedding. I have used Oriental Trading ALOT.. and have grown to really LOVE them!!! The shipping charges can be a bit expensive however sooo worth it.. in my opinion.. alot of the things i wanted and bought i couldn't get from anywhere else for the preice etc.. so i find them worth it!

No i am not certain to be honest i was just going by the writing on my wedding package from the WC where it said that if you wanted certified copies of them, to take home with you to let them know ahead of time.. that MAY just mean a copy of the reciept, they do say it takes a few months for the actual license to come in the mail.. but maybe you get a copy of the signed papers you sign on your wedding day prior to them processing it? i am not too sure... it isn't clear.. and now reading everyone else's posts i am a bit worried!! i want to change my name fairly soon.. i don't want to wait 8 months!! lol

Those are really cute!!! i was thinking about doing Luggage tags, but i don't want to have to mail out even more to everyone before the trip as i have already sent out brochures and such hehehe, if i was thinking better though i would have sent it all out at the same time, and sent them luggage tags too! lol..

Hmmm well maybe it is different for the suites than it is for the beach? I just checked my wedding package.. and what it includes.. maybe just double check with your WC to see what all it includes..

Hey!, We are getting married on the Beach, and We are required to pay 18.00 per head over the 8 people included in the package however saying that, we are having 35 people and we will be needing chairs for them.. but that 8 dollars per head also includes the wedding cake big enough for all of the guests, and the champagne for the toast after the ceremony etc..so for us it is worth it.. It sucks though that they don't give you the option of whther or not you want that stuff or not.. I honestly don't know what the penalty would be, however it may be worth asking the WC, if you are that unhappy.. then you should totally look into it.. it is your day and you need to be happy with how it all plays out.. Wow.. you are right!! I get the free executive upgrade.. and once i got 20 people booked, i got to upgrade one more couple to executive class.. When i asked about the free trip for every 25 people or what not, my TA told me that we don't get that promotion as it is only for certain resorts. She told me that if we had booked with the Gran Bahia Principe in Jamaica then we would have gotten that promotion also, but because we chose the Iberostar we are not eligible for that promo.

Those are beautiful!! I was also looking for fake starfish.. however It is impossible to find Fake sugar starfish... that are 8-10 inches... at least i had no luck at all.. so i conceded and purchased real ones.. as it was the sugar starfish i wanted... maybe it is just limited for us Canadians to find large fake ones... i dunno... but i had no luck whatsoever so i got the real ones... heheh

500 per person?!?!?!?!?!? even if we were to pay for the upgrade, the upgrade is 299.00 per person plus taxes.. wow.. i am sorry to hear that you don't get the free upgrade but i would look on air canada and double check the cost for the upgrade.. cause 500 per person is not right... unless they change that between flights to Jamaica verses flights to Mexico...

If you have it narrowed down between two or so, then i would just book the date to hold it.. you can always cancel them later.. That is what i did.. as we were waiting for package pricing from our TA on the three resorts we narrowed it down to, so i booked the date with the three resorts, and then when i chose one, i cancelled the other two, no charge! but it is better to be safe then sorry if your date is important and you don't want to move around any... and ecspecially if you go to a resort where they only do one wedding a day... then they really do book up quickly. Hey! I got my starfish from ebay.. i got 8 of them. between 8 and 10 inches.. for a pretty good price.. ebay has a ton as there are companies who sell them on there. That's where i got mine from, and no troubles getting them shipped here too which was good.. i also got my small starfish from oriental trading.. but ebay has a great selection for Large ones.. hope that helps!

Hey am, I actually found some real Large starfish on Ebay and got them a month ago.. ( shortly after this posting above actually heheh) and i got 8 large starfish off of a company on ebay... they had bno troubles getting to me at all.. and infact even on the customs slip stated they were starfish. and the company was out of the states... i didn't have a problem at all...

Hey Guys!! for all of the questions on starfish.. i purchased LARGE ( 8-10' ) starfish on ebay actually...I purchased 8 of them for decorating my arch.. and they were good priced, and had no issues at all shipping them to Canada.. Also, I purchased a ton of small starfish from oriental trading with no issues either... Hope that helps! oh and they are real starfish.. I wanted fake.. but they were impossible to find, so i just went with the real ones.. so Try ebay!!!
