Thats a good question! I just read my sheets of info from the Iberostar and it states on the sheet where it explains what is in the wedding packages, down at the bottom, that because it is a pastor doing the service it will be a christian ceremony. I am sure if you were okay with writing your own ceremony script etc.. he would read whatever it was that you created.. As when i spoke to Silvia she said that we could of course change it to say whatever we wanted... They have the basic one, and then you can either keep it or change it. I am sure you could change it to be non demonominational... however maybe send an email to Silvia and just ask her if you can get a outside JP or something if you don't want to change the ceremony that already exists ..

Hmm!! If you send me a PM with your email address i can send you the exact reciept they emailed to me.. maybe you can then compare.. or even phone them to see if they will give you the same? I would have to go back and look but i am pretty sure i ordered the ones labelled medium.. but i can send it to you anyway, so you can just look and know part numbers or what not.. to try and get the same deal... it is worth a shot at least anyway

I did alot of research when i chose mine.. and we ended up going with AMA Travel ( you don't have to be an AMA member) they had the best pricing.. and best customer service.. I was originally with Marlin Travel but the lady i was dealing with was brutal.. and she was 400 more expensive per person.. for the exact same trip.. than AMA was.. infact... it was also 400 more expensive.. for a lower star resort to boot.. My advise would be to make some phone calls and send some emails! do the research for what suits you best and when you are emailing and phoning, make sure to ask what incentives the bride and groom get!! that is very important Good Luck!

There apparently is no non denominational one as they state that because you are still being married by a pastor that it is a christian ceremony.. It is a little "too" religious for me.. but that is only for me and my FI. so i will be changing it.. to remove some of it.. I will be keeping in the blessings, and some christian content.. just not as much as they have in there. I will email it to you and you can judge for youself and what works best for you and your FI

Hey! well i was in the same situation as you in regards to needing to book a fairly affordable photographer because we were originally going to go with Digipix... but decided against it.. I have recently just contacted a few places and got price sheets etc.. and My FI and I decided on going with Misha Earle photography.. she is quick to respond.. makes you feel super comfortable .. prices are reasonable.. and her work is beautiful!! www.mishaearlephotography.com I know she has some reviews on this site also.. so you could look her up.. I haven't used her yet, but in the dealings i have had with her.. the pictures and things i have seen. and the fact that we were on a tight budget.. it works for us I know a few others have stated that the other photographers will also work with you on your budget and cater a package for you.. I think the best advise would be to go to the websites of all of the photographers people suggest, check the websites and find what style you like best, as although they are all beautiful.. some styles will pop out for you and your tastes, then others will.. and then send them emails asking for thier prices... I did thisd all just last week and Misha was quick to respond and was quite helpful and friendly! Good Luck!!

Hey! so they Travelled from the states? Where they quite expensive??? They do amazing work! but they look expensive hahaha as I am assuming you have to pay for their travel arrangements on top of package pricing... ? I wasn't planning on doing a video either.. but this is making me want to change my mind.. if we could just find the budget for it hahaha

I had a heck of a time finding one myself.. so i just made up my own!! betwen the internet and google, and word document.. heheh i just created my own sheets... it isn't a pretty little book but I just made it as a few pages in my welcome booklet, and it worked perfect!

That is a good question!! I know for us, we are planning to have the Bonfire reception for our wedding.. not as the welcome dinner or party or what not, however i am getting married on February 23rd, and it happens to be a Thursday.. I read other brides talking about how the Bonfire party for the resort is on Thursdays.. so i am curious as to how they deal with that... if they reschedule the bonfire night, or if they just have it at another location or what... lol I haven't asked the WC yet as bjcs mentioned, with me not getting married till February i figure i have lots of time to inquire

Hey does anyone know if Iberostar WC's will share the ceremony script and vows that they will be using on the day of? I am just curious as i am wondering if we should write our own.. or if what they will be doing will be good... We are doing something a little different ( we are getting married in my Grandparent's wedding rings.. and then putting our own on later) but i was thinking of a way to mention that and tie it all in to our ceremony.. anyway, just curious if anyone knows, or has gotten a copy of the scripts and vows etc...... Haha i feel ya girl!!! i did my book and it took me a month of working on it every night for hours.. to get it done.. It is pretty much done but i am thinking of making a few changes. and additions etc.. i am so glad i did the majority of it earlier rather than later as it is soo time consuming!! hahaha. mine has a part one and part two to it!! lol it is quite long.. but i figure because we are giving them to everyone at the airport they will have lots of time to look through it on the flight

Hey Guys... so i was at the dollar store ( Dollerama) tonight,looking for ribbon.. and OMG! they have these "aqua Bottles" that are collapsable water pouched basically.... they have built in straws.. and they are like a giant version of those pouch looking juice boxes? hard to explain so i am hoping you guys will get my description. anyway... they look awesome!! and would be perfect for the OOT bags because they fold into like nothing, and would be great for peope to fill and put in their bags for excursions or just for needing hydration when they are out and about... and when they are empty they collapse flat.. they come in Green and blue. and they are in the same section as the famous first aid kits!!!! and only 1$!!!!!!!!!!. I was going to take a picture but i had left my iphone at home hahaha... i am still debating on how i can sneak em in my bags with the FI not noticing... hahah if i make it to the dollar store soon i will snag a picture of them and post it for you guys.. but i thought it was a neat idea!

THAT is why i love you ladies!!! the support and feedback on this site has been phenominal on here!!!!! when i found out i hit 50.6 today i couldn't wait to share it with someone and it is pretty sad i know.. but i wanted to come on here and say something on here!! only because 90% of woman want or hope to lose a few pounds before they get into the dress etc... so if we can motivate eachother.. then even better! heehehe I am pretty excited... I am feeling soooo much better!!!!! I am down 50.6 pounds.. and have lost a total of 29 Inches on just my chest, stomach and hips! and so at this point... whatever i lose between now and february will be a bonus... but i am hoping for another 40-45.. but if i only lost 5 i would still be happy hahaha.. Well, i am actually doing Jenny Craig... i was very apprehensive when i first joined.. as i didn't fully understand the program.. but i am here to say.. i LOVE it!!!!!! it was the best decision i have made this YEAR!! lol... good for you girl for working out and working your butt of!! your work will pay off for sure.. cause even though you may not be losing the pounds as fast as you would like, i bet you are losing inches!!!! and things are tightening up!! that is awesome girl!! keep it up!!!!!!!

I am having the exact same problem. Tai Flora won't respond.. i finally went bridezilla on them.. and told them they could at least email me to tell me they were working on my emails and getting me a quote.. and that it has been a MONTH with NO responses to my three follow up emails either... I told them that if they were too busy to handle doing my wedding flowers, then to just tell me so i can go elsewhere.. I then also added to them that i have 6 months to go, but thats not a lot of time if they take over a month per reply. just ridiculous... I got a response from a sale rep there.. stating that Jodi-ann was out of town snd she would get her to email me as soon as she got back, and they of course apologised..... well she came back on monday i guess.. and suprise!!!!! still haven't heard from her. So frustrating!!!! I am not even sure what the heck i should do. it is almost like we are stuck.. unless we want tp spend all the extra money to get a different vendor in... and that's just not in my budget...

Aww it is too bad you were not in Canada! that is exactly what i am doing to my dress and the place i bought my dress from , is making it sweetheart neckline, and it is currently straight across.. Infact the seamstress said it is actually quite an easy alteration... Good luck on your search to get it done!

I totally agree with you!!! i delayed as much as i could on getting my dress... until i got panicked about the time ( even though i still had 7 months) hahaha but like you i am losing weight.. and so it was hard... BUT.. all i did was found a dress that i loved.. and that i made sure, was easy to alter to whtever size i went down to.. without affecting the style of the dress.. the other thing is, if you get a dress with a tie up back ( my dress didn't have one so i am altering it and getting the tie up back put in) that also allows it to go a bit tighter and be flexible size wise. And just because i am soo happy... and i love you ladies and all of the support and ideas we bounce off of eachother... i am happy to say.. since January 25th.. i have been losing weight .. and i have officially lost ( as of today) 50.6 pounds!!! *fist pump* i still have another 40-45 pounds to go... but i am one step further to being a trophy bride/ wife!! heheheheh So haftiehm you can always go dress hunting and find one that can be altered.. that way if you do lose weight it will be easy to get it to whatever size you are at that time.. but take the stress off.. pertaining to getting it
