  2. Nice!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!! the one website all those you invite, who make a purchase you get 10$$!! Thats awesome!! I hope you get tons!
  3. My wedding part is not evenly matched, i have one more BM than we do GM. but we don't care!w e would rather have an odd number of people that we care about and whom deserve to be there, than people we barely know...defeats the whole purpose of the meaning of them being in the bridal party. I didn't pay for my girl's dresses, however as attendant gifts i bought them each a Coach Bag... so i think i made up for it! lol That and i didnt pick a really expensive dres.s.. ( it was under 100.00 before tax and shipping)..
  4. Thanks Merrylee.. Yeah i had the waterworks going when my Grandma asked me if i would want thier rings to get married in... i am such a sentimental person too so it means the world to me that i was given this opportunity to honor them.. and it all just worked out perfectly..
  5. That is crazy!!! and i agree with Mmack.. it is drama that you don't need!!!!
  6. such a beautiful idea.. thanks for sharing that with us!
  7. We chose our date based on My Grandmas Birthday.. With us getting married in Jamaica, and her being 85.. we knew she would not be able to come.. That and her and I are very close... Also when we got engaged.. she gave me my Grandfather's ( he is passed away) and her wedding rings.. Soo We are getting married in their wedding rings also.. We will still have our own wedding set.. but we are using my Grandparents rings for the ceremony. So it was only fitting we got married on her Birthday. It worked out perfect too because it is Damn Cold in Canada in February, so the Jamaica destination is perfect timing!
  8. Wow That is great!!! your guests are lucky!! they will have fun! and it is a great keepsake too!
  9. Thanks Lisa! Yeah Luvfordalo, i was originally going to do one bag per guest, as i got a really good deal on the totes, however now that i want to do the first aid kits and what not.. it is way less expensive to do one per couple/per single. that and couples would often use out of the same stuff anyway!! That and it will save the amount that i will need to carry down with me..
  10. I haven't reached it yet but i have subscribed so the minute i can i will check it out.. thanks for sharing!!
  11. How many posts do you need before you can start downloading and seeing templates etc.. ?
  12. I There, I need them for February, but i actually got a really good deal on some big ones on ebay.. But thank you for responding!!
  13. Bride2012 and Torilynnsmith, Thank you Ladies so much!!! I haven't seen those movies yet and to be honest... we just watched "tangles" the kids movie last weekend.. and saw them on there and went " HEYYYY we are doing that for our wedding!!!" hahaha we actually got the idea from a movie we seen a few years ago " couples retreat" and My FI sawe them and say hey those are soo cool! , so when we got engaged.. that was the one thing he said he wants us to try and find.. soo i went on a goole research mission! hahaha So If you are a canadian Bride such as myself.. i recommend using "weddinglanterns.com" as thier shipping was reasonable and they are the cheapest i could find. If you are in the states, that company is also good as they are based out of New York, but there is also a website that carries them called " wishlantern.com" And of course i don't mind if you guys use my idea!! goodness knows i have used enough ideas of everyone else's off these message boards !! time to pay it forward!! hahahah I ended up buying one lantern per person.. that way when we release them there will be about 35 lanterns floating in the air.. we are pretty excited! i think this is the part of the wedding i am looking most forward to! Oh and the lanterns do come down after about 20 minutes or so i think is what they said.. but the wick in them just burns out.. and then they fall to the ground.. we are releasing ours on the beach so they will fall into the ocean.. and they are 100% biodegradable. Hope that helps ladies!!! PS. if you wanted to get the wishing pot and do what we are going to do, and get your guests to write you a wish and put it in the pot before you release the lanterns, i got the Pot at hansonellis.com Thanks!
  14. The shipping cost from littlethingsfavors was not the greratest but not horrendous.. considering what i got i guess hahaha.. I ended up getting 48 of each.. the bottle opener, the chap stick, the sewing kits, and the bookmarks.. and my subtotal was 162.57. Shipping was 45.68 and they shipped via UPS.. so it wasn't too bad i didn't think.. to me it was worth it oh and then i had to pay 14.00 duty when they delievered it.. but that's just cause it is random and i always get dinged with duty.. they love me Hope that helps!!
