Yeah at BBW( heheh) i ended up hitting their 1$ lotion sale, so i got all the travel size lotions on for 1 dollar a piece.. i was soo happy cause i LOVE the lotions from there.. and they were the new signature scents. so they are all awesome!! hahahah That's awesome hehe a window licker is equivalent to needing a helmet... heheh i bounce between the two sayings.. needing a helmet.. or a window licker.. same thing but some people get offended.. especially with the helmet one.. so i thought i would try to tone it down a bit.. cause i don't want to offend anyone. i am glad it made you laugh out loud.. feel free to use it! heheheh

Yeah it is pretty cool! and it is neat knowing when you get to the hotel that you will have a nice starfish charm and a note from the previous bride to pass along.. and then you get to do it for someone else.. i think it is such a neat way to keep us all connected and is so touching! i can't wait!!!!

Yeah i have an email in with them that i have not gotten any response from either... the last time they were not responding, they had lost thier wedding corrdinator... i am hopiong they are just busy.. and that they didn't lose another coordinator lol..

Hey!! i am getting married on at the IRHB on the 23rd! I am not too sure about the huppa vs. the arch.. i do know tht they will set up your decorations free of charge, you just need to tell them how you want it done etc... I am also curious about the Huppa vs. the arch You should join the sisterhood of the travelling starfish!! there was a post on it in a prevcious thread but has since moved to facebook.. it is brides on here.. who are starting a cool thing of passing along a starfish bouquet charm.. from bride to bride something to look at anyway if you are interested!

I did!! i actually checked several months ago.. on the telephone.. with the supervisor ( before they had the new WC.. it was the supervisor who i spoke with on the phone who confirmed it would be fine to release them) and then just a few weeks ago.. i confirmed via email ( i wanted it in writing) that it would be fine to release sky lanterns. and this was for the beach!

That was me! i confirmed with the WC at the Beach and confirmed we can release them for my February wedding..

I am getting married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach and i confirmed withn them that we are able to fly them.. so i am assuming the suites would be the same?

Nooo worries!! i see the lanterns are becoming quite the hit!!! when we first found this idea and decided to do them i had never heard of anyone else even using them... and then i joined the message boards and saw all the posts about them... who knew they were so big!! They are pretty small.. and this is all set to the size, so all you have to do is adjust it to whatever colors you want ( if you don't want the existing color that is, ) print them out and cut them out they fit perfectly!! Good luck!

I just noticed you are getting married at IBRHB also.. i am pleased to tell you That is where i am getting married also and i have already confirmed with the WC's that we ARE allowed to release them! i double checked ( twice) hehehe a few months ago just before i ordered them... and then again about a month ago.. and it is a Go!!!

We were originally going to have our reception in the steakhouse of our resort ( which is located on the beach).. so we were thinking right after dinner was finished, before we did the first dances, we would go out to the beach.. release them etc.. and then go and do our first dances etc.. so you could do something like that? Now that we are doing the bonfire, and dance etc.. on the beach, we will release them, and as they are floating, we will do our first dance

I got mine from weddinglantern.com and they show the dimenions of each one on the site... However they aren't that big.. ( the ones i got anyway) we bought one for each guests.. so we will have approx. 35 lanterns released We are having our dance and such on the beach after dinner as we are doing the bonfire on the beack package at our resort...... so when it is dark out, we will all light the lanterns and then once they are released that is when we are going to do our first dance and the Father Daughter dance etc.. we figure that would make for some amazing pictures!

Hahaha i feel ya!! i was on drugstore.com this morning after reading the post and I found things on there for cheaper then what i bought.. plus other things ( like insect repellent wipes) that i may buy to add to the bags.. it truly doesn't end!!!! my FI would die if he found out i am actually contemplating on putting more things in the bags! hahahah this is like a drug!!!!! i think i need an OOT bag intervention over here!!!
