Just finished week one and am feeling great!!!!! Congrats on your weight loss thus far, that is amazing!!! From what I hear from the ladies on here and what I have experienced so far, Insanity will really transform your body! We downloaded the workout online (left that to FI but if you want details Im sure I can get it!) so we kind of cheated there. We live in an apartment but I am thinking our floors are concrete OR the old man below up doesnt notice our jumping. Do you know your neighbours below? Maybe talk to them and see if they can hear you etc in a test run just do some jumping around and running on the spot. We do the workout on yoga mats to help with a little of the shock absorption and banging for the below neighbour as well. Whether it works or not Im not sure but I like that were not making AS much noise! I don't think you would get the same results if you took out the jumping since that is the basis of the workout and the biggest part of the cardio but maybe the yoga mat thing may work for you too!!!! I definitely recommend trying it out. We get married in Feb so the 2 months will take us just before xmas and then I hope to do a mix of the 2 months in january until we leave. I am still doing hot yoga a few times a week as well.

I have heard lately he has an associate.... maybe email him again and ask if he works with anyone or knows of anyone he may recommend. Another option would be to have afamily member or friend do your ceremony. I have seen many where a friend of the groom performed the ceremony (generally written by the bride) and it went quite well and was definitely more personal and intimate. I know the WC will do them at the Majestic but I have heard its like a 5 minute thing and done (in english I believe).

I believe she is a travel agent so you could probably use her services!

F U Shaun T.!!!!!!!!! Today was my first day of pure cardio and WOW! I always feel like I m not going to make it through but when it is all done I feel AMAZING!!!! My core already feels tighter! We took front on "before" shots but I wish we took side and back too!!! I had my first fitting yesterday and I was happy I had done my 3 days of Insanity before it and can only hope my body looks EVEN better before the next one!!!

I think this is a great list and agree that when planning a DW a travel agent can be your best friend but they can also be a HUGE stress if you do not pick the right one!!!! Use a TA, find a GREAT one!!!!!!

Well one of my amazing fellow BDW brides pointed me to this thread after I mentioned that FI and I just started this workout! I haven't had a chance to read through all the posts yet but I am so excited to find fellow insanity brides!!! I had heard about it a few times and sxcT's dress pics on the show us your dress thread really inspired me to get going on it!!! I told FI and he said "its a gimick" and wasn't so interested. I insisted I wanted to and he decided he would try. I never realized I was as out of shape as I am until I almost DIED during the first fit test! LOL I missed 1 day this week because our computer crashed (and we had downloaded it) but have been back at it every other day (we started on sundays so are taking saturdays off because we are both busy saturdays). I am already noticing I am a bit better at doing everything but I still suck!!!! I curse Shawn T every morning but love him when it is done!!!!! I am excited to read through this thread and keep up with all the other brides doing insanity. Had my first fitting tonight and would love if I was able to loose 2 dress sizes before my next one!!!!!!

She may be using an ipod or her laptop, I didn't want to do the ipod only reception with no one responsible for it thats all. Ie. I didnt want to plug it in and forget it! I;m glad you like my OOTS, I am definitely most exited about them!

Thanks for the advice, I must be coming off more distressed than I actually am as I am really not that stressed with everything. We are only 100 days to our wedding so most of this advice is a little late for me but appreciated nonetheless. Luckily we don't fall into any of those categories. -everyone we anticipated coming is and then some -our bridal party were all asked and booked right away (we knew 2 potential groomsmen would not be able to make it due to work schedules so we didnt ask them though they were told they would be included otherwise) The source of my "stress" has really come from losing our photographer the beginning of this week and being on the hunt for a replacement in just 100 days! Thank you again for the message as I realize we really dont have that many problem but to be honest I have been pretty calm and relaxed. It is what it is... I am moving on!

We are doing 3PM beach ceremony, 6:30 PM dinner at the steakhouse and I am thinking 8:30 reception at wet bar! We are doing OOT bags as well! I think I am most excited about those!!!! We have a friend of the family who is coming that will be doing our music. She has done it for a few events and we didnt want to go the ipod route as we wanted someone "responsible" for it but we also didnt want to spend the money on DJ mannia for 2 hours!

I got no contract and pastor york asks for no money until the day of! I also received 2 scripts with our names in them for us to choose from, that reminds me I need to make some decisions there!!!!

Oh dear!!!! I have given up the weight loss dream and am just going to do "as much as I can" in 100 days! As for your pashminas what colours do you have and how many of each? Post your inventory list on here, I may be interested in taking a few off your hands!!!! Where did you get them? My mom is in New York next week and I am tempted to her her to pick some up but I don't know.....

No problem! You shouldn't have any problem cancelling with the judge, you just want to be sure Pastor York is available for your date as I know he is really busy! I am very lucky in that one of my best friends is a hair stylist and another close friend has done makeup for several weddings so I will be leaning on those resources. I am an EXTREMELY picky person when it comes to hair and makeup and generally are happier with what I do myself so with the girls help I think we will come up with something I'm happy with! I have heard GREAT things about the hair dressers at the resort and so so about the makeup. The biggest thing is they haven't had to tones and colours needed. One bride went to Mac (or any makeup counter really) has her "trial" done and bought all the products they used. She then took those with her along with a picture of her trial makeup and had no problem. If you or a friend are generally pretty good at makeup I may suggest just doing that part on your own, if not this proves a good option! I plan to do a trial here and buy what I need anyways but do it with my close friend in the DR! Congrats on your wedding!!!! It is for 2012 brides no matter how far in advance you booked so since you have a 2011 date you should be safe! I would email Sandra just to see! Unfortunately even though we are not long after you we fall into the 2012 category... I think we are going to recruit people to assist with set up so that we can save the $650 lol

Welcome and congrats!!! I am a MC bride and we are using Pastor York! An english ceremony was important to us and pastor yorks scripts are lovely. He ONLY performs SYMBOLIC ceremonies and it is a majestic rule that you MUST be married before and show your marriage license/certificate in order to get married at the resort. I am sure it doesnt matter to pastor york but as a resort rule yes, you would have to be married before. It will be a lot less stressful doing the symbolic ceremony for us knowing we have a legal "canadian" marriage but are still able to have our dream beach wedding! Thanks ladies!! I am actually surprising everyone I know and myself with how calm and matter of fact I am taking everything. We have a problem we have to fix it, what is the point in stressing and being upset about it! That being said, had everyone not have booked their trips based on the whole wedding thing I may be tempted to call off the DW! lol I am more excited about the vacation!!!!! On a side not, FI and I started Beachbody Insanity on Sunday and though I curse him and Sean T. (the instructor on the video) every morning WOW I am sure we are going to have our beach bodies by february if we can keep it up!!!!!! Any other Canadian brides tried or trying insanity? Would love to hear what you think?
