Ebli23 what dress are you ordering from Jasmine? I am looking at ordering my dress from them as well but they do not have it on the website so I just sent pictures for a quote. It is MUCH cheaper than buying the real deal and would definitely help out our budget but I am just so nervous it wont come out right! I would love to hear about how your dress comes out when you receive it!

This is the debate I am having with myself!!!! They would totally be wearable again for the girls BUT are they dressy enough. Our wedding is going to be pretty casual but at the same time I don't want it to look bad in pictures. The VS ones my friend had were almost shiny so they looked a lot more dressy. Etsy has a few sellers who make them as well in "fancier" materials. I can sew so I MAY attempt one myself... found a pattern thats pretty straightforward but I don't know.....

I like the idea of pails too JQ!!!!!! We actually are getting Target stores soon, they have bought "Zellers" a Canadian company and will be taking over their spaces...unfortunately not soon enough. Don't know if any other Canadians are as worried as me but it always seems that when US stores we LOVE come across the border they are NEVER as good...or maybe it is just the fact that we don't have them that makes them so great!

No problem! I keep thinking that I want to figure out more "original" things to put in our OOT bags but then remind myself 99% of our guests havent been to a DW before and they aren't even EXPECTING to get gift bags in the first place. I think presentation is huge so I will be doing the "personalized" lip balm, first aid kit and the different labels. Youll see it all over here but remember your guests arent searching BDW like we are!!!!!

American Apparel also has a multiway dress and their website has lots of ways to tie them. My friend used the purple ones for her wedding last august and I loved how all the girls tied them. How dark is "cobalt" blue. Our colour is navy so I don't think Cobalt will work for us!

Robyn - I don't believe Dollartree ships to Canada. It does however ship to the store and then you get an email notification to go pick it up, you have 1 week to pick it up with photo ID. The only thing I would make sure if that they will allow you to input a Canadian Address as your "billing address" because it needs to match your ID I remember reading! What bags did you decide on?? The ones I wanted are sold out at dollartree I am so upset. My mom brought me back a sample to make sure I liked it and when I went to order (to my cousin who lives in the US) they were out of stock!!!!! I will be including -aloe -pepto, advil, imodium -gatorade crystals mix -sun tan lotion -key card holders -mugs -first aid kit -wedding timeline -thank you note I like the "Oh Sh!t kits" and the "Wedding week survival kits" or "hangover kits" something like that! I have a huge list but now I can't remember anything! If you search OOT bags you'll get tons of ideas. I will be going to the states to pick up lots of my minis and stuff.

I love seeing the iron on transfer on the bags worked well! I have been going back and fourth about doing this!

Love the folders Robyn they are so tropical!!! I think I am going to hold off on my vista print ordering (may try a pen just to see lol) until I have a better idea of what I want to do. I am so picky and don't want to be unhappy. Also I have trouble giving up control, if I can do it at home I can make sure it's just right so I don't know if I will even end up using them ....

I have been meaning to post these for awhile now and kept forgetting, sorry! Robyn here are the DIY tissue pomanders. Sorry some pictures are side ways. The green one is a larger size and the white ones are 2 different versions of a smaller size. I think I will be using the smaller size just because it is easier to transport. Sorry the pictures arent very good. The small ones cost about $0.80 a piece so I like the price tag!!!! I wont be doing white ones though, just did them as a test run!!!

Not sure if anyone has signed up for the Vista Print emails but they have a big sale going on. I would like to start taking advantage of some of their products for our OOT bags etc. but I just can't seem to think of what I want to do!!! -OOT bag welcome letters -See you in a month/thanks for booking cards There's LOTS I want to do but when I go on to design anything I get stumped!!!

They had them at the Dollaramas in Mississauga my mom told me. We just moved to peterborough and I haven't seen them here yet....

Have any of my fellow Canadians ordered from Oriental Trading? I was just checking out their site and they have some great stuff. I was wondering what shipping and duty was like. I know the American brides rave about them but I am looking to hear a Canadian experience!
