I didn't use this as I have used powerpoint before to do design work but I googled "Instructions" to see what came up and guess what came up first... a BDW thread!!!! We are doing 1 bag per couple and then 1 bag for any singles. We haven't bought our bags yet but probably will soon, we sent out 100 invites (yes our families are crazy!) but only expect anything from 30-60 people (it could be more but I think that's a good high end guess!) so we will probably get 3 dozen bags and we should be covered! If we have extra I am sure we can sell them on here or find a use for them. We are doing $1 or $2 bags so I am not too too worried!

I have never heard "Presentation" before on an invite... what does it even mean? I think I would just be really confused if I read that but maybe just because I have never heard/seen it before! We are going with the "Your presence is your present" idea. We have still registered as some people started asking as soon as we got engaged where we were registered and I know people who can't make it will still get us a gift due to their beliefs or tradition so this way it makes it easier for them. We said nothing on our invites and have just included our registry information on our website. I like the idea of the wishing well or the honeymoon registry but again I don't feel comfortable coming out and asking people for money. I guess if it was an option and not the only one it would be okay!

I think I am going to!!!! I have designed our pashmina label (rounded version), kleenex label (square version), OOT bag tag, and that type of stuff using the monogram background.... I am not sure if it is too much of the same thing but we'll see.... I will do a test run and see how it works. I like the idea of the consistency!!! Started Bride and Groom last night.... will keep you posted!!!

I am looking at Galante, it is from 2010 I believe but made it into the 2011 collection as well. They have Fresa now as well which is a sweetheart" version of the galante but there are several differences that I am not sure about. I think I will stick with Galante and have the changes made. What is the 2012 dress you are looking at? I would love to check it out!!!

This is interesting information.... I have been considering getting my dress replicated, there are a few changes I would like to make and have tried on the original.... I am curious to know if other brides who have gone the "knock-off" "replica" route tried their dress on before hand and how they felt the replica compared..... Now I am second guessing myself..... haven't ordered yet though so still time to change my mind!

I've fallen in love with a pronovias as well that I plan on altering to a sweetheart removing the straps! I have seen a few girls do this I think it depends on the seamstress as I have seen some I like and some I dont, but saying that it may have been the preference of the bride!

Wow! you have so much going on, house, baby wedding, school!! You must be pretty busy!!! I am originally from Mississauga. We just moved back from Halifax, Nova Scotia and FIs job has brought him to Peterborough so that is where we are now. FI is from Ottawa so we are sort of in the middle which is nice for visiting family. I am slowly settling in to life in Peterborough....

You would have to check the wedding packages. Each resort is different. From what I have experienced looking at different places in Jamaica and the DR most included one floral centrepiece for your signing table that would then be moved to your head table or wherever you liked. If you wanted additional centrepieces that was extra. We are going to use mine and my bridesmaids bouquets to double as centrepieces. Makes no sense for them to just sit on the table through dinner and reception so may as well have them do double duty!!!!
