Can I ask did you need a minimum # of guests to get the executive class upgrade? Definitely ask again, they would likely credit 1 week of standard room but you never know!!! Even that would be a help!!!!!!

haha you are great!!!! the dress definitely is a statement I dont think people are expecting so I want to make sure it is not all so OVER THE TOP and I think by keeping decor more minimal we will get the right feel. I will make an impact with events, OOTs, and the way we do thing not necessarily the look of things!!! hopefully I am not disappointed!!!!! 6 months to the day today!!!!!!

I personally like the more traditional route for the program, I am thinking passports for the "welcome" booklet with all the info in it but again like you said it is a TON of work! You do have to keep reminding yourself that your guests are not on BDW all the time like we are so they probably haven't seen "faux" passports used for anything before and they will likely find it VERY unique... so saying that... maybe passports lol I am no help at all!!!! Will you be doing fans at the ceremony?!

There is the per hour option that applies to the wet bar and parrot bar - $500 per hour for sound system, space and open bar for 40 guests (I think) Join the "Majestic Colonial Brides" group on facebook there is a TON of info on there and they can answer EVERY question you have!

Thanks Annie.... I am so nervous about ordering online for quality but a referral from a fellow BDW bride makes me feel so much better!!!! As for the bags, I think we will throw a few large ziplocs and a few sandwich sized ones in everyones bags for their liquids, lotions etc. on the way home!!! I usually keep my lotions in one (or a fancy zipper travel case) in my beach bag for by the pool so may be a nice idea!!!! I remember other brides mentioning it was something that was actually used in their bags! I have to be honest I would be too worried they wouldn't be able to get them plugged in, what if they needed an extension cord etc. You can get the lanterns individually and just get the battery operated tea lights, then they can go anywhere and no worries about plugging them in!!!!

SPOILED!!!!!!! I have an aunt who lives in the states and is back and fourth for work so I am more than welcome to ship to her but I just have no patience and also hate imposing!!! I may have to for these fans though!!!

So back to the messages for templates VENT - I decided I am going to start checking what brides are posting on other threads when I get a message to send templates... the latest bride has 12 posts and EVERY SINGLE ONE is on a different Boarding Pass thread asking for the templates!!!!! I am sorry, if I fell in love with a template I get it but asking 12 people for templates... thats just overwhelming and WHAT are you going to do with all those!?! I think I am going to stop sharing my templates! I will still post them but only those brides who earn their BDW strips will access them.... even posting them I am hesitant now!!!!

Sorry to hear you are having troubles as well. It really is disappointing, this is not just some group vacation... we are getting married and you think she would understand that!!! My favourite part is she added me as a "friend" on facebook so I get to see all the slacking she is doing!!! Apparently according to facebook she is on vacation from now until after labour day..... Great to know since our group rate closes in 3 weeks..... ohhhh a little vent but sooo frustrating!!! Hopefully this thread helps other brides!!!!

Needling some Shoe opinions I will be wearing pumps for dinner and reception and going barefoot for the ceremony. I will likely pick up a pair of flip flops/sandals just in case the sane is to hot etc. I am obsessed with these but don't know if I will be able to find them... I think they may be discontinued!
