Leigh, do you have the information on where I would go about doing this... the issues just continue to pile up! The Executive Class upgrade is for Charter flights only. These are flights that are 1600's 1700's or 1800's.... Cancun flights are not considered charters because they go daily during the season I believe. I think I mentioned this before but because this thread is still active I wanted to mention that I called ACV directly to get my answer and this is the information they provided. The # of guests to qualify is 20 people. Congrats Jen, this is great news for you!

OMG MJKH I feel like I just came back to your planning thread in here!!!!!! This was a little overwhelming!!! lol Where did you get these envelopes? I like the peony bouquet of different shades of pink

Ahhhhh that's what happened. I returned the shirts last night and they were cheaper than what I paid I thought! Oh well.... still $15 for the pants is a good deal and no shipping... so I saved $1.50 on each item I ordered!!!! Looks great!!!!!! -
Show off your shoes....
torilynnsmith replied to twinkletoes's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I LOVE THESE!!!!! This is exactly what I am looking for for my bridesmaids.... they look like Steve Madden's "groom" sandals but the price is better!!!!! I say sandals for your wedding on the sand (if you choose) and heels for dinner and reception. Then you have the sandals for dancing etc. if you need to slip out of those heels...... If you ask FI though, I can find any excuse for MORE SHOES!!!!! SO I will be having 2 or even 3 pairs lol I like the look of the rsvp but would do no ankle strap... not sure if you could wear them without but I have actually looked at these same ones in navy though LOVE THIS!!!! MY best friend just wore a similar pair of Badgley Mischkas for her wedding but didn't think she could get her decals on because of the metal name plate - this looks great!!! I prefer the davids bridal ones to the nina or the others!!!!!!! Great find! -

I think "traditionally" your initial comes first BUT for some of our stuff his name worked better first in terms of balance so I said... SCREW TRADITION! LOL -

We picked up FIs suit this weekend too while we were visiting my parents in Mississauga. A bride had mentioned awhile back visiting International Clothiers (she was as shocked as we were). We got his suit for $99 and it is great!!!! Went to le chateau to check out theirs and they would have been over $200.... I cant figure out where everyone is getting the $30 ones!!!! Anyways FI was going to try it on anyways just to see and they dont even make a jacket in his size!!!!!! He is not a huge guy by any means.... the le chateau suits are cut small so he needed a 42 or maybe a 44 jacket and they only go up to the size below... this was really disappointing and I was so surprised! So, for any ladies looking for suits for their hunny know that le chateau is not well suited for the "broader" gentlemen! LOL Here is a picture of FI in the Groomsmen outfits so everyone can see!!!! (Dont ask what he is doing with his neck!) Shirts - Winners, they are navy blue linen Mexx shirts. They have a "tuxedo "esc" shirt front, I wasn't sure how this would look but I like the more "formal - casual" vibe it gives! Pants - Old Navy flat front pants -

They are FANTASTIC!!!!! A variety of waist AND length sizes which was awesome as we have a VERY tall groomsmen and a shorter groomsmen... no alterations needed!!!!!! We bought the flat front ones as I was not loving the flap pockets on the drawstring ones but either are a great look!!! I actually ordered linen shirts online from old navy too, they were only $11.50 or something and they are also really nice. We had already got mexx shirts... a little more formal, for the guys but I wasn't sure. FI tried both on today and we opted for the mexx shirts but FI wants to keep an old navy one for himself!!!!!! Definitely check them out!! Also a tip, to get free shipping you have to spend $50 or more... BUT you can return almost everything IN STORE. So order $50 worth and return the other stuff to get the free shipping!!!!! We ordered the pants and the shirts... though I was unsure about the shirts I knew I could get a full refund so no biggie!!!!! I never even thought of FI!!!!! That's a great idea for the TTD... wont ruing his suit!!!!! -
I found my shell pomanders (shell balls) and the starfish in a few different places like MJKH mentioned. The starfish were at winners in the back in the "decor" section. They had them on the table display but could also be found in the "knick knack" aisle... with all the random table decor etc. At home sense I fund you have to walk every one of those "knick knack" aisles, I found them hanging on a hook at one of the ends. I wasn't sure about the starfish at first... how I would incorporate them so didn't but they at winners... my mom ended up buying them at homesense. Welcome!!!! We are so glad you found us!!!!!! We started to consume the "canadian OOT" thread so we figured it would be a good idea to have a "Canadian" outlet for our chit chat and support!!!! I am on here a lot... I need an OOT bag and BDW intervention, though those are basically intertwined.... some might find it annoying but it has made this planning SO fun!!!!! The grasses are really really light but are right to the bottom of the vase and then secured by about 4 inches of sand and then sea shells so I think I should be ok. I never considered it to be honest. We are in an open air restaurant but it is covered and in the evening they drop all the curtains so I think we should be fine. I hope at least!!!!!! I definitely agree about the real candle thing. I LOVE the battery operated tea lights and homesense even has battery operated pillars that are SCENTED!!!! So you can have your vanilla candle and not worry about it blowing out, catching fire or forgetting you lit it!!!!! I am using sheppards hooks to line our aisle but I am thinking of using them at the reception spot as well with lanterns and using battery operated tea lights in them... they even flicker!!! Ahhhh I love the new inventions!!! Thanks Ann-Marit!!!!!! Unfortunately they don't have navy Not sure if I mentioned before but I actually made a convertible dress!!!! It is SO SO easy, if you have a sewing machine I highly recommend trying it! Anyways, I made one and ended up thinking maybe we wouldnt go the convertible route and now I am thinking I may go back to do the convertible... I just don't want it to be too casual but I think they will be comfy for the girls!!! I can't justify the high price tag of the ones on etsy and online (in my colour) since I could make mine for about $20 $25 MAX! I saw the Henkaa store the other day, but they are pricier aren't they? What was the cost if you don't mind sharing?! Thanks!!!! Ok! Good to know, my mom picked these up and I was over for dinner and they were on the chair not far from me and I couldn't figure it out... I kept smelling a urine smell (do yours smell like pee?!) I thought it was my centrepiece as I had brought it to show her... no.... I FINALLY figured it out and then thought maybe the CAT had peed on them but they ALL smelt!!! I told mom I don't want them in my suitcase as everything will smell bad so we are going to air them out! Thanks for the tip about putting them outside! I will try that!!

Someone had shared this site, may have been on this thread or the canadian brides thread but I thought i would share a great find for those of you that wanted to do the sewing kit but couldn't get them at michaels http://www.theweddingshoppe.ca/Sewing_Kit_Favors_Personalized_p/ia10282p.htm Less than $1 a piece AND personalized!!! I haven't had a chance to look through the whole site but it is CANADIAN!!!!! and I am sure there are more great finds!!!!

I stopped into La Vie en Rose when I was in Toronto to check them out.... lucky for me they didn't have them on the floor or else they probably would have been added to my bags.... this was the first step in my personal intervention... if you dont see it DONT ask!!!!! Good to know... where is the store in New York? My mom has just found out she will be there for business in October and the first thing I said was PASHMINAS FROM CANAL!!!! Hopefully we can figure something out... mom wont be as scared of a sketchy adventure lol

Love these lights and the umbrellas!!! Great finds.... I haven't seen a London Drugs around us but may need to look into it! What Bikini Store and what colour were the dresses?! I am still considering a multi way dress so this may be an option for us!!! I got my at Winner/Homesense as well. They are HUGE for the mesh bag of 10 was only $14.99 like Janette said.... they are fake starfish as well which I really like because I didn't want a creature to die for my decorating but like luvmoo mentioned... very hard to find "fakes" I did find these Smelt a little bit so we have been airing them out and that seems to help... Janette did you find this? Have a safe move Leigh and we will see you when you are back in Ontario!!!!!!!

Didn't even see this questions SORRY!!!! I took off the plastic and folded them into the "kits" I also made a "sewing kit" sticker that I put on the back "flatter" side...... I think you can see it in my OOT thread!!! Hope this helps!!!! I did only 1 so far (thanks for reminding me, I totally forgot I have more to do!!!!) and I used "soused" as that is what I have seen on here.... I am thinking I will change it to "sauced" as more people will get it I think... no one is going to say "sauced" is not the word or is a spelling mistake but I would hate to think with "soused" they are giggling at our error (even though it is right)

Thats a GREAT deal!!!!!!!!! THATS THE SAYING!!!!!!! Thanks Manda, for the life of me I couldn't remember!!! There are a TON of vista print threads. If you do a search there is one where a lot of brides post their pictures, it helped me a TON!!!!! I am doing our door hangers for sure from VP

I was able to check out he pants in store and they looked great to me. They are really nice and FI and I liked them a lot better than the le chateau ones. He is coming home for lunch so I will get him to try them on just to see how they fit... I can post a picture! We also ordered the long sleeve navy button ups. I had already purchases some from mexx but these are a more casual look so I'll have him try it on and see! -

Heard great things about them! Search the forum I think theres a lot of information on them! Are you against him wearing sneakers? I like the idea if they are a fun colour or something and true to his personality... I think it looks good but if its not your vision..... They came in like 2 days after they shipped!!! I wasn't expecting them for 10 business days (2 weeks!!!!) I have been away and just got back the box is sitting here and I haven't opened it LOL I will open it now and report back shortly! -

Congratulations on booking your date!! When do you arrive at the Majestic? We leave the 9th so I will JUST miss your wedding!!! Phil does not work for the resort but he is there so much that he is exempt from the extra outside vendor cost. Be sure to take a look at his pictures and make sure his style is for you. He is a great resource and I had read great reviews too but his photo style was just not me. I was booking him and then regretted my decision immensely as I knew I would not be happy with my pictures. Everyones taste is different so just be sure to be true to yourself! -
Show us your wedding dress!
torilynnsmith replied to Jennifer's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you picture it with a train go for it, if not DONT!!! IT is your day!!! I had tried on several dresses, when I finally decided on mine and had to choose a colour I tried on a similar version in white, not even realizing all the dresses I had tried on were off white or ivory. I didn't even have the dress done up and I KNEW white was not for me!!! I was very tanned as we were several months into summer and STILL hated it. I think you know what looks best on you and you are most comfortable in. There is no right or wrong answer. Head to the shop and try on a white and then an ivory dress.... you will get your answer VERY quickly! Just about everyone I know or talk to knew right away what worked for them! Be confident with your choice, I am sure Ivory was the right one if thats what you chose!
