  1. Dollarama has the little rubbery watches that could even hook to oot bags and be taken to the beach! $1! I didnt put anything in our mugs to travel as I put a small container of dish soap in each one so people could wash them once they get them. I also put all our "survival kit" stuff in a packed bag of its own so I didn't have much else small enough to go in the mug. I think that is definitely a good idea if you aren't packing your advil, lip chap etc. in a baggie of its own. They really werent too bad to pack, the 34oz mugs were BRUTAL they took up so much space in the pre packed bags but with most OOTs having 2 mugs per bag, 1 survival kit, 1 notepad and pen, 1 mini shell soap, 2 face cloths and 2 key card holders I just packed them and sort of rolled them sort of. I think I fit about 18 to each suitcase so wasnt bad. I gave my BMs my mom and my MIL their own bags to transport to save some space! Hope this helps
  2. The dress and you are absolutely stunning, together you make a knockout combination! I think your FI will be floored when he sees you! I too have a mermaid dress with the "ruffles" on the bottom but have never seen one like this with the lace bodice, absolutely beautiful!
  3. No wonder it looked so wonderful!!! We are using the Casablanca lillies and I adore them! Great choice
  4. How much are the bags costing you Annie? I like the idea of just a bag tag and no actual personalization on the bag as then I think people will actually re-use them! Just my 2 cents! We packed up all our OOTs the other day and they did take up a lot of space. I am glad most of our guests will be receiving the 18oz Bubba Mug Tumblers from Walmart (USA) as they take up MUCH less space than our 34oz mugs! I am looking so forward to all our guests receiving our OOT bags! I think that is what I am most excited aobut haha!
  5. Not sure if anyone has shared this before but I just came across it and thought it may be helpful for all of you! We are trying to decide on bouquet toss and garter toss songs and this was a nice find! http://www.secretweddingsongs.com/
  6. I adore the casablanca lillies!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE white bouquets and am also using the casablanca lillies!!!! Great choice!
  7. Those shoes you like are Badgley Mischka and the style is called Indie, you can find them online just about anywhere! Here is a link to amazon http://www.amazon.com/Badgley-Mischka-Womens-Indi-Rosette/dp/B004SFEESW
  8. 23 days to the wedding, 21 days until we leave! I have taken this week and some free time I had to unpack and RE PACK all the OOT and Decor items. My inlaws will be taking one suitcase with all the OOT bags for the group they are travelling with (arrive a full day before us and didnt want them to be without Bubba's for two full days as we dont get in until the following evening). To make it easy for them I packed every oot bag so they wouldn't have any assembly. After opening that suitcase and then opening ours for the guests on our flight I decided it was a much cleaner and easier way to do it so I packed up all our guests OOTs as well! I finished up all my "signs" yesterday for our hand fans, and "brush the sand from your feet" so I am nearly done! It will feel good to be all packed and organized. We are still working on our reception play list. It is only about 2.5 hours and I am sure 20 mins of that will be eaten up by first dance speeches etc so it really isnt that much dancing time! I am having such a hard time narrowing it down! Hope everyone else is getting their final details finished up and feeling good! My last dress appointment is on Tuesday I will pick it up and my mom will learn how to close all those buttons! Looking forward to it!
  9. Were did you find your casablanca lillies? I am having them in my bouquet and love love love the ones you found for your centrepieces!!! Great work!
  10. OMG your day looked amazing and Samantha did a wonderful job!!!! Congrats congrats congrats! You can get waterproof stickers same idea as a bumper sticker so they will withstand the pool, washing etc. I know you can order them online yourself or check out etsy and they can design and print them all so all you have to do is stick em!
  11. We got a very similar suit at International Clothiers at Square One in Mississauga for $99 as well. It is lightweight linen and fits really well!
  12. All your hard work has paid off ten-fold!!!!!! Looking AMAZING!!!!!
  13. I knew I would only be wearing my heels (approx 3") for some getting ready and picture shots where I would be "holding up" my dress for the most part so the hem truly wouldnt matter... I would want the shoes to show, thats why I am holding it up. So when I explained this at the salon we opted to hem to my flats, my dress is ruffled through the front and actually when I put on the heels it really isnt that bad, for me it doesnt matter as I wont be wearing them to "walk" or anything lol but it does work still! Just my experience!! GOOD LUCK
  14. I did see some at Davids Bridal as well, they had me use one when I was trying dresses on so I am sure theyhave LOTS to choose from! Their is a DB in Mississauga and one in Scarburough I believe!
  15. We are going through Air Canada Vacations and my inlaws opted for another tour operator and went with Sunwing. Hope this helps!
  16. They generally dont release anything until 1 year before. Like we couldnt find any Feb travel rates for 2012 until Late february 2011 or maybe even march so 10 months doesnt seem too out there!
  17. You look absolutely AMAZING!!! I don't know where you plan on finding the last 10 lbs!!!!
  18. That is a great price for the nail polsih remover wipes, I think I paid $4-$5 a box!!!!!!
  19. I so fell off the wagon just before Christmas after finishing month 1. I was going into exams and holiday hours at work and was just too busy. I planned to pick it up in the "new year" but here it is Jan 3rd marking exactly 30 days from our departure and 32 days from our wedding and I am still procrastinating.... I know I will be so happy when I do it but I just can't press play!!!!!! Keep up the amazing work Jamie, you will love your results even after month 1!
  20. Wow Kat I would never have guessed that AT ALL from your pictures! Your photographer worked some magic. I am 5'8 and my FI is 6' (just lol) so I am only wearing my cute heels for getting ready and some fun photo ops and wearing flat sandals for the rest of the day, I think it will be better in the end anyways! No one will see them under my dress!!!!
  21. 30 days until we leave too, 32 days until we say I do!!!!!! Who are you flying with? We are headed to the Majestic Colonial too flying out of Toronto!!!!! Not sure if you're on the MC brides FB page but Maria had that sign for her daughters wedding, you could try messaging her to see where she got it... if you are DIY you can make it!!!!! It is super easy!!!!! I am starting to realize time is ticking and I still have A LOT to do... oh well... I can only get done what I can get done... I am thinking an AFTER the fact planning thread is more likely what BDW will get from me though!
  22. SOOOO CUTE.... but ouch with the duty!!!!!!
  23. THANKS!!!!! We were looking to do our civil in Toronto or Ottawa (his family is in Ottawa mine TO) but decided it was too much work.
