I feel like most of us have "slowed" our BDW participation, myself included.... but every once in awhile when I complete another project I just find myself having to share it with someone! So here is my latest... Flower shoe clips for the Joe Fresh flip flops ($1.97 right now!) I picked up for my BMs for the dancing part of the evening (when they want to kick off their heels!

My latest DIY is flower shoe clips for my BMs for flip flops for the reception/party (if they want to take their heels off! I picked up the flip flops on sale at Superstore here in Canada (they're joe fresh) for $1.97! Here they are!!! -
We are going to go with wedges I think. They can walk in the sand and it gives the girls some height (if this is what they want) Otherwise a nice flat sandal always works... or barefoot jewelry!

If you just want brown "rubbery" ones Joe Fresh at Superstore/Loblaws has all their Flip Flops on for $1.97 right now, they had brown when I picked some up yesterday!

It is not permitted at our resort either. Every resort I have ever been to says tipping is not permitted but every review or trip advisor i read people say they tip and service etc is better and appreciated.... I feel like that isn't right because you are paying all this money to be at the resort. I understand their pay is not substantial but I just feel like it makes it tough for us and our guests.....

Had the same problem. Delete everything from your cart and then ADD it again through the email where it was free. I don't know if this makes sense but you should have your designs all set to go using the "free uploads" Delete them from your cart and then from the email where the business cards or post cards are free.... click the link and then go into your portfolio (i think it is called) upload from there. They should all come up free then. I tried this using a few different emails (1 free post cards, 1 free rack cards etc.) and this worked for me! Let me know if it works!

Your dress is very similar to mine!!!!!! -
I totally agree!!! I asked my best friend who got married at home in July and she did NOT tip her photographer so I am going with that. We are paying a LARGE chunk of change for our photographer so that we can get who and what we want but I don't see a tip being necessary!!!

I did that and still have it active but last time they went on sale I did not receive the email notification (neither did other brides who had signed up) I think if there is one difference in skew or something it doesnt work sadly Thanks though! -

Just thought I would check in on this thread as this week I accomplished one of my big goals which was 5 days of yoga straight (mon-fri) I started practicing Moksha Yoga (hot yoga) in June and have really been loving it. I never go on the weekends but am committed through the week. I usually get 3-4 classes in a week but have been wanting to achieve my 5 day goal since I started and this week I did it!!!!!!!! 6 hours of Moksha and I feel amazing!!!! I can definitely see a change in my body but most importantly I FEEL better!!! I feel tighter and firmer all over which was my big goal as well as dropping a few pounds. I am not as fixated on the number as the look in a bikini and my dress!!!! My studio is having a 30 day challenge coming up so I think I will make that my next goal!!!! Good luck everyone and keep up the great work!!! -
Ok, so here are my thoughts on the tipping situation.... Wedding Coordinator - $100 (assuming all goes well and we're happy) Photographer - she is the owner of the business and therefore I have read that it is not customary as she is obviously receiving all the money, if your photographer works for a company then some people suggest tipping. I am thinking thank you note after the fact.... Bartenders - depending on how many I am thinking $50 each? Servers - same as bartenders $50 each? (assuming all runs smoothly as dinner) What about our officiant?! DJ (if we end up getting one?) gaaahhhh this is so much extra I wasn't anticipating!!! Bartenders, servers and WC yes... but the others?!

This isn't mine, I just searched "place cards in sand" on google as I knew I had seen lots of inspiration ideas before! You can use just about anything to house the place cards in sand..... -
Ok, I have major OOT scores to report... even though my OOTs are done I am still always keeping an eye out for OOT items. I am adding extra touches to our BM and GM bags as well as our parents and we just found out that FIs cousins who are 11 y/o male and 9 y/o female will be joining us so I want to give them extra special bags!!!! If anyone has any suggestions for kiddie stuff I would love to know!!! I dont know what those ages are into and could use all the help I could get!!! I picked up "water and beach" stuff at the dollarstore which was a big score but I am thinking more activities and things of interest to those ages... Alright... now onto the good stuff!!!! Stopped into michaels today for another DIY project item I needed BUT as usual got extremely sidetracked as they have a TON of clearance stuff right now. Be sure to check out the different clearance sections all over the store! Demask Playing Cards and mini notebook with pen. I will be adding these to the BM bags, and our mom's bags! (Leigh, this is a MUST for your bags!!!!!) $1.50 each BUUUUT today and tomorrow michaels has 25% off your entire regular priced purchase so these were like $1.12 each!!!!! 2 seashell emry boards (for the moms) $0.75 for 2 AND Manicure sets $0.90 --- we're talking cheaper than the DOLLAR STORE!!!!! Waterbomb footballs and balls for the kids and FI lol - I picked up a water bomb ball game that has the 2 nets for the kids for in the pool and thought these extra balls would be awesome. I considered picking one of these up for each of the GM as well..... $0.90 each football and the 2 balls for the same! I also picked up inflatable beach balls for $0.90 as well!!! ANNNNNNNNNND the big news for those of you that are still needing them..... the SEWING KITS ARE BACK!!!!!!! I almost missed them!!! They were in the $1 ($1.50 section here in Canada... boo) right by the cash. They just put out Christmas/Holiday style stuff in this section and they are in this "collection". They were in different colours then the brights we had in summer but still just as good! Green, Off white/yellow, brown, a purplish plum i think and a whole bunch more! Sorry don't have a picture as I didn't need anymore but just had to share!!! Starting tomorrow there is an online coupon for 50% off any reg priced item AND another for 40% off. BUT remember today (and tomorrow I think... ) there is 25% off your ENTIRE regular priced purchase. I couldn't find this online but they had the sign up in store so I asked about it and she said you had to download and print it... I had 3 pages of printed coupons that I printed off today and showed her it wasn't in there so she just pulled one out of her til and let me use that!!! Never hurts to ask!! Plead your case, tell them it isnt online anymore and you will get 25% off all these $1.50 items!!!!!

They are $3 right now at walmart in the states, unfortunately not in Canada! Do you already have some? If not I would suggest waiting for Canadian tire to put their bubbas on sale, they go 50% off and the 20oz mugs are about $5.99... not $3 but the regular price in the states was $4.97 and if you think of the gas and all, unless you were planning a trip it is just as easy to get them here! Also Canadian Tire offers rain checks if they don't have enough! We bought out the Walmart we were at in Buffalo, NY about 2 or 3 weeks ago (round 2 for us as we had more people book then expected) of 18oz tumblers. They still had some 34oz mugs and 52oz mugs but no tumblers at all (we took the last 7). They are on sale because they were a "summer" item (even though they can be used for hot) so I doubt you will find them at many walmarts still... I suggest posting on the bubba keg thread and you may get an american bride willing to ship them your way..... unfortunately us Canadians can't help you out

Hey ladies, Just saw this brought up in another thread and thought I would check in to see what everyone is doing..... Tipping of photographers, videographers etc.?? What are your plans in regards to tipping on the wedding day... I feel like the money keeps adding up and adding up but I also don't want to forget someone if this is the way it is done!
