Thanx for your ideas...noe for a reply here is my problem with my FI LOL LOL hes a electrician, so as you can guess money clips are our lol as he doesnt use them..and hes not a DRESSY guy at all. hes happy with a hat t-shirt and flip flops lol however, what do you think of an engraved leather wallet with the wedding date on it? and yeah the pictures he would love!!! come on now hes a guy lol and I love the idea of the wedding shirt being engraved. So this is my problem, my best friend is not only a man, but hes also my "MAN OF HONOR" I figured if there was anyone helping me get ready and making me feel better while I stress out. I wanted him! So now that I have this problem...this is the help I need for all the DWB is what do I do for a gift for him? I cant over do the gift Im getting my FI but I dont want to under do it from what Im giving my girls. Here is a list of gifts Im giving: PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! FI: hes getting either an IPAD2 or a BLACKBERRY NOTEBOOK and a Swedish massage at the resort MY GIRLS: are getting a tear drop (pink)stone ring with diamonds around it. hey lianee...... I dont know if this will help you or not, but this is what we did. We have a travel agent SELLOFFVACATIONS who not only found us a great price, but who is now invited to the wedding due the fact the women spends hours on the phone with me whenever I need her lol.... once we put our money down with her she e-mailed the resort and sent all the info to me via e-mail. The next day I phoned the resort and booked our date with them. They sent me the days that were available for the wedding...most resorts are really great with the info....but because im a control freak, I just call them.. if your concerned about the date you want for the wedding..what I would do is call the resort and get them to hold the slot, they will hold for 2 weeks before you have to put deposit. After you can contact a travel agent. I hope this helps..and doesnt sound like im rambling Ive been doing invites since 6am LOL LOL

I know when we were originally looking into the resort there was alot of things IE: pool tiles and whatnot.....but its been open now since 2008 and all the problems they have had have all been fixed....so if your still stuck on the resort look at my wedding website, it has a ton of links on it if your having a hard time finding info. i finally got IT!!!!!!! since my guy is such a math/budget man....a friend suggested the IPAD/blackberry notebook. LOL I know how you feel, we had everything ready for august 2011 in Jamaica. And after changing the date due to family time lines and whatnot, we ended up finding out that yet again we would have to push it back again this time because we found out we were having a little one (OOOOPPPSSSS) So like you, here we go again! this time we have told everyone that the date is the date...and we are not changing it again lol lol At this stage I am ready to get planning, and due to the fact weve tried this once before I am almost done with the resort stuff and moving on to the OTT bags and the fun stuff. Keep a smile on your face and put your foot down when it comes to your date LOL Good luck

I have talked to the resorts photographer late this week...and she wasnt very friendly nor was she very forthcoming with their prices. The moment I told her I was looking at another photographer her nose got all out of joint. here is their website, hope this helps! I did our DIY invites...I went to Michaels, they have invitation packages including envelopes, ribbon, it even gives you a website you can get your layout from....Ive added the link, the ones shown are what we used....but we added a picture of the island on the bottom and I ended up putting the ribbon on top just using a hot glue gun. The idea me and my FI had, was to do a U shape seating...while bringing all the flowers from your wedding venue and putting it at the end of the U seating....it would work for big or in our case an intimate crowd...just food for thought =^)
