i talked to our w/c...and our ceremony is at 4:00pm...i had requested to have the reception at 6:00 pm as well...i was told that our guests could be there early....but as we are doing a big enterance i wanted to make sure that they could be there like 30 min or so before hand and have a couple of drinks, we were told that was no problem/ So my program reads that ceremony is at 4:00 with drinks on the beach after and reception dinner is at 6:00pm in the blue lagoon...hope this helps

legally, you have to wait till your marriage cert comes in...you have to prove it was legal lol lol ....then with the marriage cert you can make it legal here and change your name at the same time. this is what i was told

when it comes to a planning thread, you can start posting it a week before the wedding....but not before, make sure you read the rules on planning threads, just do a search and youll find the rules for it. what im doing to make sure its all together, is take pics as you go..then when it comes time then you can do your thread and its all there for you. good luck and congrats

im going with Diana Campbell ...she has put so much time with me...talking sending pics back and forth...getting the sand ceremony together...plus she is getting some jamaician treats for me. such a great person. and really great prices too were getting married on April 14th 2012 at 4:00pm in the gazebo, then the reception at the blue lagoon. Almost done with the DIY stuff, but still so much to do lol

i think we are all worried about the heel height...im going to wait until the shoes come in to do the fitting, and well i guess ill have to such up the pain lol lol

if you talk to your W/C you can add some flowers and change it up a little, thats what were doing...i just dont know yet if were going to go through the resort or through the florist personally, i know other brides who went through the florist and saved money, but not sure how that would work figuring that our flowers are included in the wedding package??? do you know of anything regarding the florist??

i think the shoes are just as important as the wedding dress, you have to make a statement with them! LOL I got the craziest shoes for our wedding, partly because they had peacock feathers on them lol and because they will make amazing pics!!!!! I hope you find them....and when you do, def post pics

As far as ideas go, do a google search to see what layout you like, then work it from there.....that what i did, thank god for the internet lol if you need ideas though, id be more than happy to tell you what i have done as far as the DIY stuff. happy to help out! we have picked and reserved the blue lagoon for april 14th at 6pm..the reason i picked that location, was because its a little more private for us and our guests, plus its very open to the ocean and WOW just beautiful! We have got a photographer who is a local to jamaica, i can pass her name on to you if you would like....shes great, and good rates i really wouldnt panic, as long as you get the major stuff done ASAP IE: DRESS..SHOES..FI WEAR...WEDDING JEWELS..AND JUST THE RESORT STUFF, MENUS, RECEPTION (etc) yopull be fine. Are you doing any DIY projects for the wedding? and are you bringing your own linens?

we have picked the waves of love package...if you look through the packages and the prices, the only difference really is that you can add decor to the gazebo, where with the waves of love you cant.... but its alot more for the pearl, and to be honest you dont get much more out of it! if you need any help let me know.

Ok, so afte a labor of love, and i do mean labor lol i have done the wedding programs..... and i couldnt be happier with them. originally i was going to do something simple and well one page.... but well thats just not me lmao so i have done a program fan with 7 inserts, id like to do an even number...but for the life of me i cant figure out what to put on the last page. iam going to get the paper for it tomorrow, and once i get the first one put together lol i will post a pic,,,and of course my template as well. ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST LOL LOL
