alrighty, im not sure if this is going to work, but looking at all these OOT bags made me want to do some logo design lol so please let me know what you think (if this works) lol alright it wouldnt past but this is the idea..the picture will be a circle and of course the font will be different, but this is the idea. J-ME wow thats a dilemma for sure...may be what you could do is send out a mass e-mail saying your doing the invitations, but to get the right amount sent...you need to have their response from all who have not replied from the RSVP This way you give everyone the chance. What would we have done without computers eh lol. or you can do what we did any invite thoes you really want to go. Hope this helped some

you can also get your papers done by your family doctor, if hes a notery...thats what im doing. this way it will only cost us like 20.00 or here is regina we can get our papers certified by our insurance broker lol lol weird i know but that regina for ya lol if you call around to places like that it will cut the cost down for you, every bit helps!

i just finished my invitations today, and posted them on here, only to find out that I cant send them out due to a strike in the canadian post office lol......we decided not to do STD cards and go right to the invitations. as far as everything else goes, weve booked the resort and the wedding package, the photographer, got my dress and reception dress, wedding bands are bought, Ive bought some wedding decorations already, im starting my welcome booklet tomorrow and have got the wording done for our AHR Oh and our OOT bags have been started too lol . There seems like so much to do still and although its still a year away, its alot to plan lol

here is what i was thinking about doing, keep in mind our wedding is a year away (APRIL 14th 2012) lol but I wanted to put pictures in black and white on the tables, all the pics will be of us in Jamaica at different locations as our photographer is taking us out the next day after our wedding.....this way ppl feel like they are apart of the whole wedding day and celebration. With the pictures, Im thinking about one simple tropical flower in front of each pic. Were doing a backyard BBQ AHR with a night bonfire too. This way i can get the flowers that morning at the market, I can print the pics from our computer....and all the money saved will go into the booze lol as my FI is an electrician and all his friends can drink lol lol

we are doing the spice thing, as well I am going to get some sand from jamaica get our photographer to take pics of us filling the jars, im then going to get it coloured with our wedding colours and put the pic on the tins with my FI and I holding a sign saying wish you were here, but well bring jamaica back for you....... both of these things will be tied with Jamaican coloured string. What we were thinking about doing was getting a big signing book at the front door with a pic of us in jamaica, so everyone still get to give there best wishes for us. We too are doing a bonfire and were renting a tropical bar that will go into the corner of the yard..on the bar were going to have small amounts of sand mixed with our wedding colours (the sand will be from jamaica) and like you just playing music from my FI stereo (hes a stereo freak lol) I think for an AHR..ppl are going to spend time with you....and celebrate with you two.... but i know for us, I dont want to cook lol so my mom is getting the food for us SCORE!!!! are you doing a cake? As for linens and such, I bought a ton of stuff off of another BDW brides, and most of it will be used at home, just so we can incorporate our feeling of tropics at home.... look at the buy/trade/freebie section of this website..youll find a ton of great deals and or ideas. Any thing you can offer for us would be great too

All i have to say is WOW, your cake is so nice! I never thought about a cake for ours.....now Im thinking lol thank you for sharing

Im totally wearing my dress again at our AHR... i bought it i will wear it as much as I can lol hell id wear it to bed if it wasnt so big lol lol .... I agree its your day do what makes you two happy, I know when I was asking ppl what they thought, they loved the idea of me wearing it again even if it is in our backyard hahaha What i planed was to get a cheaper dress so we could do the TTD thing, but this way i dont chance trashing my good dress. Hell I say WEAR IT AND ROCK IT as much as you can!!! and love every min of it.

We didnt to the STD...we just did the invites how ever we did put the statement on our wedding website that the AHR will be taking place after we got back from jamaica...we figured if they wanted a way out, they really didnt want to be there lol lol we figured that the people we love the most will find a way to be at both.

LMAO I forgot to answer your questions about the colours and how im incorporating them....the orange is going to be added with paper lanterns the turquoise blue will be paper lanterns both will also be sashes in the reception dinner area the yellow, well i just thought the yellow looked nice with the other two colours lol BUT the main colours for the wedding are baby blue (hydrangas) with added lime green calalillies (more of a classic tropical feel) The reception will be more of a tropical feel to it where all the colour will come into play, but im also adding touches of black as well...black looks good no matter where you add it lol... So as you can tell i have an idea, but really not sure of it all right now hahahahaha .... but it sounded like i did huh?!

OH HEY JANET: I didnt even notice that you replied lol lol me being so observant again haha yeah even with everything Im glad they turned out the way i thought they should, as soon as I saw you on earlier I had to tell you and Tori...figuring you two have heard and read all my tears and frustration with this project lol So first off thank you for all your support and giving me your opinion and ideas. yeah im trying to get ours together as well, and ill be darned if i can find the one I loved,I found it in one of the threads and now cant find it lol. It went something like.....on ( blank day) he poped the question and (add name) said of course they are getting married at (add name) on (add date) and would love you to be apart of their wedding celebration when they get home ...then this is where you would add in all your info..... Has anyone scene this? lol im desperate to find it again!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the min I we saw the resort pics...we were sold on it, and even with one wedding delay, weve gone right back to it. I cant wait to get married there! thankx for the input on the GPLH
