Hi Emma, I was told by Beatriz I could have the Colin cowrie collection metallic sands for the decor of my wedding reception. I had booked the diamond package for ceremony. I have famous for the table, I have confetti boxes with poem and order of the day to display in the gazebo for ceremony. I have bought silver petals from eBay to decorate gazebo aisle. I have had menus printed for wedding reception dinner. I have had a table plan drawn up to make it feel like a wedding. I have a violinist for wedding ceremony with a firework display. I have hired package 1 from PSAv for music for wedding reception. I have booked the mariachi band for wedding reception. This is $580, but I think definitely worth it. I have had personalised tshirts made to go in Oot bags with room key holders. I have a guest book and pen for cake table. I have diamante cake toppers for cake. Also a ring cushion. I am giving out my Oot bags before we go. Can't afford to take these. I have 3 kids who all have 20 kegs each. Which we paid extra for. I am packing all these extras into their cases. Need any info. Hi Jamie. Pretty special day the 9 th of may then!!! I have my mums birthday 22nd April, my brothers 26th April, mine 28th April, my h2b birthday 5th may, my daughters birthday 3rd may, nieces 17th may and my dads 24th may. So why. It throw another date in their??? He he!! Getting a but stressed. Ow as my onsite wedding co,ordinator daniela lara is still not been in touch. Been two weeks now. Getting married in one month and yet to sign a contract. Everything I had organised with Beatriz had not been passed over to daniela. Trying it to worry but can't help it. Have everything my end sorted. But the things I am doing like ordering my flower girls pearl earring do not seem important without the wedding details finalised. MENU OF FOOD AT PRIVATE FUNCTION - I HAVE GONE FOR MENU INTERNATIONAL 2 MENU BRIDESMAID GIFT - REAL PEARL FRESHWATER BRACELET IN LIGHT GREY. I WILL GIVE THESE BEFORE THE CEREMONY TO GO WITH THEIR DRESSES!! THIS IS ONE OF MY LITTLE GIRLS IN HER FLOWER GIRL DRESS. Hi there, I have booked the diamond package. However, for the wedding reception I have gone for the Metallic sands collection from Colin Cowe. I have gone for table two which is the square table. I think it is definately worth the money, as floral centrepieces are included. I was going to use Marvin from Cancun for floral centrepieces, but was not sure as may have got the charge for using an outside vendor. My colour theme is silver, greys and whites. So it will all be the same.

The letter states " The resort credit that you receive as part of your holiday will be subject to a 11% sales tax that has been recently applied by the Mexican Government. This tax will be added to all services and products purchased with the resort credit". I booked this over 18 months ago. I am deeply frustrated. Still heard nothing from Daniela Lara for over a week. Only have 37 days left till we fly out!! Come on Daniela!!!. Those of you that requested the Wedding PDFS, I have sent them to your personal email address. Oh my, I wish I had kale a. I had Beatriz as my wedding co ordinator. Then, did not hear anything for two weeks. Then I was passed to my onside wedding co ordinator who is daniela Lara. She only has in her contract half of the things I had already organised. It's the big stuff as well mariachi band, photography package, Colin Crowe collection for private function. And here's the biggey!! Unlimited private functions. Last time I heard from her was Thursday last week. So yes, a week ago. Still not got back to me and confirmed the above. I am getting stressed now as getting married in less than 40 days. I was under the impression everything should be signed and sealed so to speak by now. Can anyone provide me with clarification on this? Sent her an email this morning that I was deeply frustrated my her lack of communication. I understand that weddings are a daily routine to her. But obviously not to me. I understand they have their way of doing things. But, come on,!!, need some correspondence. I Anyway, enough about me. Hi girls, Yes, Krystalbab. It is the room nights. So if you have a couple booked in for 7 days it equals 7 room nights. In regards to private functions. You have one hour cocktail hour and two hours for a private function. This is included if you have unlimited private functions. I am having another hour for the private function. Therefore, three hours in total. For,the extra hour I have to pay $60 per table. But I only have four table so not too bad. Also you have to pay $12 per person to have the reception setup outside. I am having this on the Caribbean terrace. You only pay this fee once. It is $6 per person for the cocktail hour set up but because I am paying one set up cost the cheaper one is waived. Hope this helps! I have Beatrix Santana as my Florida based wedding co ordination and get married in less than 6 weeks. I still have not signed my contract as needed to finalise flowers and butionneres. Have emailed palace weddings direct with no reply. Has anybody else who had Beatrix been directed to anyone else? If so, could you provide me with contact details. She did tell me my onside wedding co ordinator would be daniela Lara. But she does not reply to my emails. Hi Emma, Not many if us on here from the uk. What a great site though. Yes you qualify for unlimited private functions. Go to the palace resorts website and go to wedding and then group benefits. I have 88 room nights booked. I am having a welcome dinner the day after we get there. Then I am have a cocktail hour on tucan terrace and a private function on the carribean terrace. There is an extra charge to have these outside but defiantly worth it.

Hi there, Yes, I can confirm what the other ladies has said is the truth. I have unlimited private functions. Even before this I was going to pay the $400 per table to have a private function on the carribean terrrace along with the $12 per person. I have qualified for the unlimited private functions. I have gone for the Colin Cowe Metallic snds collection for the decor of my table because I did not have to pay for the private function. I still have to pay the $12 per person. Also for two hours extra service. Still think this is very reasonable for a private function space. i have used my dinner reservation for a welcome dinner at Arrecifes. Why don't you do the same. Use your dinner reservation in one of the restaurants.

I have looked at loads of photos if wedding locations for ceremony and reception. This is what I have reserved. Tucson gazebo. By far the nicest if you don't want the beach. Tucan terrace for cocktail hour with fireworks. Private reception on the Caribbean terrace with mariachi band and dj later on. I originally booked the diamond package. This will be the theme of my decor for ceremony. In keeping with this because all changed gone for the metallic sands collection by Colin view for private reception. Loads of info. On here. No, you cannot use resort credit towards optionaol wedding services. Only towards wedding packages. We where allowed touse $1500 towards our Diamond Wedding package. However, I have asked. I spoke to Katya Nava who is the photographer and Karla Estada and the salon.. They both said you cannot. Bit of a bummer though!!

I am having a cocktail hour on the Tucan Terrace with a firework display. I am having a private function on the Carribean Terrace with a Mariachi band. I cant wait!! Literally counting the days. I have made welcome packs for everyone. Don't know how I am going to get them there as weigh about 1kg each. May have to give them out before we go. I have just put a map of the resort in mine with all the times and locations of events. Also personalised tshirts and mints. I have personalised favours for our wedding receptions. Be fab. either way. We are having a cocktail on the Tucan Terrace, with a firework display. Followed by a private function on the Carribean Terrace.
