Can past brides give me a running order of their day with times. I.e ceremony, cocktail hour (if necessary), dinner etc etc. What you did between these things to make it run smoothly. I have been given a 2pm time for ceremony at tulum gazebo and 6pm at gran tortuga. I am so happy that Jazmin has got back to me with a date where we can have the options we were hoping for but just worrying that there is too long in between the ceremony and dinner. One bride has been in touch suggesting that after the photos are done we have drinks with our guests whilst the guitar trio play which we really like the sound of but just wondered how other brides days flowed or for future brides how they plan to organise their day. Also any brides who did not pay for the evening poolside reception - what did you do instead. Where did you go? Still undecided about what to do and whether to have the reception or not. Finally any websites for boat/catamaran excursions. Thanks again everyone.

I have not had the brochure yet. I dare not ask questions about anything else to Jazmin yet because it is already taking weeks to find out wedding/dinner locations times available and she still has not got back to me. So don't even want to ask about flowers yet. I just asked on here because someone bought me a bouquet for my birthday and it has a stargazer lily in and I thought it was lovely.

Can anyone tell me whether stargazer lilies and gerberas are allowed as part of the included bouquet or do these cost extra?

Thanks for the info. Do you get to choose the style of band for the 2 hours or is there only a mariachi available. I do actually think I would like to go with a bit of Mexican feel but just wondered what the options were. Are there any rocky areas on Tulum beach? When you say you paid for the bar. Do you mean at the Lobby? Surely it is all inclusive?

Ooooh thanks for the info. i like the sound of joining the guests for the cocktail hour to enjoy the band with them. Is this the band that is included in the unforgettable love package? I think we are going to end up getting married Tulum side as I do not think the Akumal hammocks are available on the 2 dates we have requested (still waiting for Jazmin to confirm) but I like the photos that are done down by the wall and rocks at akumal so does anyone know if the resort photographer would take us down there? even if we got married and had dinner at tulum.

Do they always use the microphones for the ceremonies? Is this because it is windy? Just checking because I have seen some you tube vids when it is really windy and you can still hardly hear because of the wind. Also previous brides....what times would you recommend for ceremony (bearing in mind time for photos) and dinner. Were you happy with the times you had? Also bear in mind my wedding is in November and the sunset is just after 5pm.

Hi, Does anyone know how long the aisle walk is for the Tulum Beach location? We wanted the akumel beach location but it is not available on either of the 2 dates requested so i think we need to have a rethink so looking at either the tulum gazebo or tulum beach. I do love the gazebo but sort had my heart set on getting married on the beach. I liked the long walk to the hammocks too and from the pics i have seen it is much shorter at Tulum. Is Tulum private? How long is the aisle walk to the gazebo too. Thanks for your help. Panicking a bit. XXX

What a great idea. I want the beach location (fingers crossed - still waiting to hear back from WC) and I was going to get a pair of shoes for afterwards and my at home reception where I am wearing the dress again and then just go barefoot on the beach but those barefoot sandals are excellent. xx

Is there an adults only pool anywhere in the resort?

Yea I have seen a few videos on the beach and it does look really windy. Is there less wind at the gazebo location?

Hi Jemma, Congratulations.Your pics are gorgeous. I would love to see more. what material did you use for the hammock decoration and did it weigh much? Also what material did you use for the chair covers and how much did you need. Did it cost much for the material? Also did you take artificial petals or buy real ones from the resort? Sorry for all of the questions but I am thinking about having this location and think it looks completely different with all of the extra decoration touches.

I would love to know about the sound quality too. This idea appeals to be because I am not keen on dance music which I believe is what the DJ plays. We could get our guests to request some of their favourite songsto dance to to add to the play list. How many people are you having at your poolside reception and for how long? What have they quoted you if you dont mind me asking.
