Oh no we are going in November and mosquites love my hubby to be and he has quite bad reactions to them. Hope he doesnot have nasty bites for our wedding photos. What repellants do people recommend available in the UK or in resort?

Hi, I am from the UK and do not have to have any documents translated. I just need to show my passport and tourist card (which you are given to fill in on the plane) and you have to have blood tests in resort. From what I can gather, if you were adopted, have been divorced or have changed your name you will need to get certain papers translated but if you let your wedding coordinator know if this is the case they will tell you exactly what you will need to do.

I am travelling from the UK and am hearing mixed opinions on the best currency to take. Some people say that the currency is the peso so take the peso. Some recommend the US dollar. All the prices of things at the hotel are in dollars. When we visited Mexico before we were recommended to take the US dollar but that was about 10 years ago and things may have change since then. Plus we still got change in peso's anyway so got confusing. Any advice? I know we won't need to carry too much money with being all inclusive. Mainly for tips and excursions. Do most people pay for the wedding by card?

I was offered don pablo but I am staying in the Tulum section. Maybe brides staying in Tulum get first choice. Not sure.

Hi I have been looking at the tripadvisor forum for restaurants at the resort. Not for the wedding meal. Just in general for the holiday. Does anyone have any preferences, recommendations? Also can anyone tell me how many people can be seated at the Mikado show table? And we are staying in the Tulum section - I know we can use restaurants in Akumel and Coba sections but can we also use the Sian Kaan restaurants and facilities or is this an exclusive area? I am sure we have enough to choose from in the other 3 areas but I am just curious.

Hi, I am from UK and have booked with Thomas Cook and they tell me I need docs translating but my WC at the hotel has said this is not required. I have asked many UK brides on here and they back this up and have also checked the net and I think the confusion comes because the requirements are different depending on the state where the ceremony is taking place. Neither of us have been married before, changed our names or are adopted though. I think the requirements are different if you have done any of these things as you have. I do not know the exact requirements but I am sure your WC should be able to give you the correct info.

Does anyone know the price of the coco bongo tickets bought through the hotel? Just been on the coco bongo website and it says it is $50 per person. Just wondered whether we are better off getting them direct or through the hotel with the transport.

No Rachel. Link does not work. I have found you on FB but your pics are private. I think you can change the privacy on just that album so we can see your wedding pics but all your other info and pics stay private.
