  1. YAY Congrats!!!! I"m hoping to get there soon
  2. I"m hoping to get there soon too! I have a LONG way to go... I read a lot, but I don't comment too much... I just don't want to annoy people with my comments of just agreeing...lol
  3. LOVE THEM!!!! I sooo wanted these when I saw them on DSW.com but when I went to get them, they only had them in black... :-( I am on the search for the perfect hot pink/fuschia heels...
  4. LOVE THESE!!!!!! I'm on the search for the perfect Badgely's... do these come in other colors?
  5. And I forgot to say... Good luck on the Marathon!!!!! :-)
  6. HI Megs - I'd be interested in the song list too! I saw the video of your wedding on the Jellyfish FB Page and I must say your party looked like a BLAST!
  7. Thanks Ladies! Dominique - I'd love to see pictures and hear suggestions... When I personally think vintage, I think lace, crystals, pearls, ivory, and muted tones... I wanted to incorporate the orange and fuschia somehow, because those are the colors that I have used for my STDs, and for the supplies for the invites that I am making...granted I can make them accents instead of focal points.... I know in the end, it's my day and all... but I just want to make sure that it is memorable in a nice way and not tacky... does this make sense? I guess I have a lot of ideas in my head of what I want things to look like and I'm having a hard time seeing it all together or putting it into words...
  8. Very CUTE!!! I love when Micheal's has the 40% sales on stuff like that!
  9. I love all your ideas!!!! The colors and the mexican touches! I really like the papel picado in Black and White. Are you making them or are you ordering them? And I really really really like the idea of a Patron shot! So awesome! I see your wedding was for June of this year... I'm sooo interested in seeing how everything turned out!
  10. So I need some thoughts/opinions.... I'm not sure where the best place to post this is, but since it has to do with the theme/decor of the wedding I figured this would be my best bet. I'm planning my beach ceremony/reception at the Jellyfish restaurant in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic... here is a link incase you would like to see the venue (http://www.jellyfishrestaurant.com/gallery.html). I have been looking around for ideas for the theme/look/feel that I would like for the wedding. And I found this site the other day that did what they called a "vintage glam" wedding photo shoot: http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/gallery/vintage-glam-editorial-shoot+5456 and the bride in the photo shoot has the same dress as mine! (it's actually the first time I find a pic of it on someone other than the magazine model). I really like the vintage-y look (not the necklace she is wearing though!) So I started thinking... would a "vintage glam" wedding work on the beach? Also, my colors are orange and fuschia and a touch of light blue... how would that work? I need some ideas... how can I pull it off? Would I still be able to do Bling...or would I need to tone it down with pearls? HELP!!! Any ideas or suggestions would help and just for fun... here is a link to a pic of the bride that shows the whole dress :-) http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/photo/353126 THANKS!
  11. I have a question for those of you that are having your ceremony and reception at the Jellyfish what are you doing for the welcome dinner/rehersal dinner? I am currently set to have my ceremony at Melia and the reception at the Jellyfish, but have been considering doing both at the Jellyfish. Actually, I pretty much decided that I want to do both at the Jellyfish...but my one concern is that if I'm not doing the wedding at the resort, will the resort still offer "special wedding" treatment? (welcome dinner, room upgrades, etc...) Part of the original package for the wedding was a welcome dinner.... does anyone know if it would still be possible to do one even if I no longer have my wedding ceremony at the resort?
  12. Mel2010...thanks for that info!!! I really, really want DJ Mannia, but I was having a hard time justifying the price tag...this might help... I will contact them to see what kind of offer I can get.... :-)
  13. I have the Zumba at home DVDs and they are awesome! totally recommend them. I'm not sure how much they cost since I borrowed them from my sister-in-law but I'm think they are around the same price as any of the at-home set's... probably somewhere between $80 and $100 for the set. I'm keep getting on and off the wagon and I just need to dig deep and stay on! I bought my dress a few weeks ago thinking that that will help with motivation but I'm still in the same spot! I worked out at the gym at work today, but I'm looking to stick to an at home routine. I own P90x, Insanity, TurboFire, chalene Extreme, Brazilian Butt Lift and Zumba... You'd think I'd be all set! lol... I would really like to stick to the Turbo Fire program, but it seems like alot of you really like P90x... I have 25lbs to lose and a lot of toning needed!
  14. Ah! then it is the same one FI is getting. both our rings came from Kay's...It's a gorgeous guys ring! And FIs requirement was that if I get diamonds so does he.... lol...
  15. Everything looks great! I love your FI's ring...it looks exactly like the one I picked out for my fi...is it tungston? Your wedding is soooo close!!!! I look forward to hearing all about your day and seeing pics!
  16. I know they are still out there in the stores. I just bought a white today at the store. Good luck!
  17. I'm intereseted in some info on this too! I thought it would be neat to have this as part of the reception, but I would like to know from someone that had it what all was involved and if it's worth the extra expense.
  18. Great Job! I think it looks pretty awesome. What shoes are these.... I like the jeweled t-strap on them!
  19. The dress Has flowers, embroidery and crystals all throughout on an organza material. It's really textured :-)
