Hi, Has anyone used Marcia Roberts for Video? Id so can you post? Booked her for video however I have only seen slide shows and photos no video. I hope someone has something please. Thanks

Has anyone every had their wedding cake by them? She has amazing cakes however there is no way of contacting her. Its as if she only bakes for Hummingbird. I am looking for a great wedding cake. I have to say Iberostar's wedding cakes do not like amazing at all. Please help if you have any ideas or options for an amazing wedding cake.

Hi Princess, I am considering inquiring about Tropical Weddings. I have about 100 guests booked at Iberostar Suites however I am starting to get second thoughts on having the ceremony there. I do not love the beach set up and people are just walking around and can be in your pictures. I also do not like the yellow lounge chairs on the beach near the ceremony. Iberostar has so many extra fees I wonder if it would be better to have it offsite like at the Aqueduct. Iberostar's package is $2100 plus $18 per person just for the ceremony. What are your thoughts? Maybe I should call Almerie.

Hi Daisymable, Your wedding pictures are amazing. Where did you have your ceremony and dinner reception? That is was not the Iberostar property was it? I am getting married on July 1, 2012 with an est 80-90 guests and I am trying to figure how this will all come together.

Hi, No you do not get a credit I do not believe. I am going there on October 20th to have a meeting and go through the details. I believe in the package it is either a couples massage or the 12 free pictures? I will take the couples massage. I have to check that out again. Regarding the florist I will use the bouquet for the bridesmaid, I will use the buttonhole for the groom, and the center piece for the table which all comes in the package. Everything thing else my bouquet, the huppa flowers, flowers for the entrance to the ceremony and center pieces I will use the florist for. Note the flowers on the huppa are not real flowers. Hi, I am using Godfrey as well for my July 1, 2012 wedding. He responds to all emails promptly as the time. I am also using Marcia Roberts for the photography and video. Her prices are amazing and she is super nice. You should contact her.

Hi Lezlie, I am getting married July 1, 2012 at the Suites and groom and I will be at the Grand. Yes, everything is expensive for the extras. I am working with an outside florist name Godfrey Guy in Montego bay. His email is [email protected] 876.509.2952. He is very reasonable and some brides on here have used him. You can tell him I referred you. I will have him do my huppa, centerpieces, my bouquet and the corsages for the moms. I would also try Marcia Roberts. I am using her for my July 1, 2012 wedding at Iberostar. She includes the a video cd as well as trash the dress for day 2. Sorry but I have a ton of questions: Did you use the hotels florsit? Were they expensive? Did they also do your center pieces? How was Marcia to work with? Did you have a DJ? How was he? Hi, My wedding will be July 1, 2012. I chose Iberostar because it had the best reviews. I do not love their wedding package but I am going to use a few outside vendors. I found the vendor through this site which have been very helpful.The florist the hotel recommends is very expensive and they are hard to reach. I have also heard the photographers they use are not great either and are also expensive. I have decided to use a floral service provider which a few brides have used at Iberostar. His name is Godfrey Guy. His email is [email protected]. His prices are amazing. Note the hotel does not use natural flowers for the ceremony huppa and no center pieces are included in your reception dinner only the main table. if you use him tell him Charene Stewart referred you ( wedding date July 1, 2012) The only thing is he will require a deposit by western union which I just sent yesterday and the balance will be due 5 days before the wedding. I am using him for my huppa, ceremony arrangements, my bouquet ( I will use the one that comes with the package for my brides maid as I hear it is small), corsages for the moms and the buttonholes for the dads) and my table center pieces. All you have to do is send him pictures of what you would like and he will advise. He would be an outside vendor but he picks up the vendor fee. He will call you all the time but I rather someone stay in contact vs not hear from them and they are in another island. I am also working with an outside vendor photographer Marcia Roberts. She seems to be really good and I also got her from one of the brides on this site. Again she will also pay the vendor fee. Just really review her contracts and make sure it states exactly what you agreed on. I am finalizing my contract with her now. My guest will be staying at Iberostar Suites and this is where the wedding will be. Myself and the Groom will be staying at the Grand. It is a little more $$ but I love the fact you have a butler and the grounds are more plush and grand! I plan on bringing my own chair tie backs as the hotel does not have my colors, my favors, and votive candles for the table for the reception. We are expecting about 80 guest. I am working on my guest welcome gift bags now. I will include hang over kits, sunscreen, personalized playing cards, and advise cards for them to drop in the wedding box and a couple of other things I am deciding on. **Note Nicole and Tiffany the wedding coordinators are very hard to reach!! You have to call them. They take forever to reply back to emails. Maybe it is beacuse my wedding is next year? But it really shouldn't matter. Well congrats 2012 brides!! Hi Guys, I have booked my wedding date at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites for July 1, 2012. We are having the ceremony and our guest stay at the suites and my Fiance and I will be staying at the Iberostar Grand. We felt the Grand was too expensive to ask guest to pay to stay there the suites was a little more affordable. Still expensive but I am a firm believer you pay for what you get and good FOOD is very important. One of my biggest questions is " Does anyone know anything about their DJ". The DJ is one of the most important part of the reception. We have combined a mixed crowd of 80 guest ages 30-65 and we need great music!! Did anyone use their DJ? How was it? Flying our personal DJ in to play for a couple of hours seems a lot.
