i'm sooooo incredibly proud of my second DIY wedding project...(the first was the logo which is included on this project). i designed, printed and cut these beauties out tonight...even after making my very first chicken pot pie...i've been on a DIY roll today! :-) THANKS to ALL of the incredibly talented DIY brides on this site, i decided to take the plunge and make boarding passes for my Fall destination wedding. these will be used as the official 'guide for the wedding weekend' and will be mailed to our guests prior to landing in Jamaica. these were very easy to make...cutting them out was fairly painless too...of course, i've got like 25 more sets to go..so, wish me luck! R~

i think this is THE ONE...THANKS again for sharing this info..i've made a ton of monograms and logos...i couldn't have done it w/o this info! :-) R~

starrysim...i believe the bonfire is an option as other IRHB brides have done it...but i didn't get it in my list of extras either..i'm sure if you ask about it then they'll provide pricing. fyi..the restaurants at the beach are all nice...AND...if u stay at the suites and want to visit the cajun or japanese restaurants then you have to visit the beach property...that's how my fiance and i ended up going over there as we were suites guests last year...plus i went and met with Tameica and we walked the grounds, viewed rooms and chatted about all of the wedding info including wedding locations, etc...i was very impressed with the hotel and the fact that its so cost efficient won me over. i wonder what they do if two brides want to rent the disco too...good question..hope someone has an answer for that one. happy planning! sascolo...i'm going to be honest..BRUTALLY honest so sit down...have yourself a and get ready for the advice... YOU ARE WORTH IT...get a dress that you love...WEAR THAT VEIL...don't even THINK about being 40..i'll be 40 in december and this is my 2nd wedding as well..but you know what...WHO CARES! this is the LAST man i'll marry therefore the LAST TIME i'll have the opportunity to wear a beautiful dress, and an equally beautiful veil on a beautiful beach...so DO YOU! be happy with the gift of life and love that god has given you and STRUT the stuff your Mama gave you...be the beauty you are... for all those naysayers and haters...tell them to take a hike and/or to kiss your ripe i say, if you've got it and your groom loves it..WEAR IT..SHOW IT OFF and BE HAPPY in the moment! happy planning!!! i just returned from Old Navy and the quantity is limited however, they don't have the five per customer limit going on at the one i went to...of course, black, white and a few other random colors like purple happen to still be available...all for $1/each...good luck hunting for flip flops girls... :-) R~

does anyone know how long the flip flops will be a $1??? and are they good quality and what colors???

pintsize, i do believe there are some brides who chose to hold their ceremony at the aquaduct and the reception at IBRHS...keep checking the forums but i do remember seeing pics and reviews from other brides...good luck and happy planning! R~
