i havent' seen shells at the Dollar Tree near me but i'll have to go and look..i've bought all of my shells, sealife and starfish from Ross..and from another BDW bride...but that looks very nice and cost efficient...GOTTA LOVE IT!!! R~

well, first off... you've come to the right spot... USVI is beautiful..between st. thomas, st. croix and st. john, i'm sure your guests will love it..st. john has beautiful secluded beaches and you can't beat the no passport required. st. thomas is much like florida...nice and with ALL of the comforts of home..like, walmart, etc...i think 20k is plenty..some hotels offer discounted wedding deals...like sandals, they'll throw in a martha stewart themed wedding pretty much free...i believe beaches does the same..it really just depends on your hotel, your planning ideas and what you're wanting for your dream wedding... this site can help you with everything from Save the Date ideas to passports for invitations, etc...everything is easily accessible and the brides on here are a real pleasure to chat with, bounce ideas off of or just vent...so, i believe you'll find a plethora of information and ideas to help kickstart your planning. good luck and happy planning!!! hello, ladies! initially, i was anti-veil..then i got a birdcage veil to go with my short and sassy dress..it just seemed appropriate...THEN..i bought a WOW dress and was all, i don't need a veil...that is, until my mother started insisting on having me wear a veil...needless to say, i purchased a veil that was regularly $129.00 at David's Bridal about a week ago now..for $9.99! yes, ladies...$9.99 for a cathedral length veil..check it out. R~

iberostar brides...did u guys see the comments i posted about the starfish passing? what does everyone think about instituting this for iberostar rosehall brides??? i'm on a starfish passing schedule right now..BUT...if we decide to coordinate one here...i'd be happy to participate...here's what i was thinking...some of us are marrying at the beach..some at the suites and others at the grande... why don't those brides who are marrying at each respective resort participate? we could use the starfish as our 'something borrowed' and then leave it with the WC for the next scheduled bride...i bet it could work..if you're at the beach, leave it there..the suites, leave it there..so on and so forth...of course, you'd have to know 'whose next'...we can't just leave the starfish for ANYBODY cuz they might not return it to the WC for the next bride... i'm eager to hear ya'lls thoughts on this? my big day isn't until october so if i 'coordinate' it it won't happen until then..however, if there's someone with a wedding date sooner who might already have a starfish for their bouquet..maybe we could start it earlier... please let me know how ya'll feel about this... can't wait to hear from my fellow iberostar rosehall brides!!! i plan to sleep separately before the big day...my fiance and i are staying at the grande while our guests are booked at the beach so i'll likely stay in my daughters' room the night before and get ready with them on the BIG DAY!!! less than 115 days!!! woo hoo!!! R~
