The best resort is Iberostar. The Beach property is the most affordable of the three resorts that comprise the Iberostar resort. The RIU Montego Bay looks nice too and Breezes Runaway Bay has a cute chapel on the beach. Good luck and happy planning!!! R~ aka MrsTGun

I believe DIYing is the most cost efficient while professional printing is the most time efficient. There's so many great ideas for DW brides here and on etsy...I happened to DIY my entire stationery suite...printing everything on my home printer. While it did take countless hours, the joy I felt in revealing everything as I hand delivered items to each guest won't be easily forgotten. Happy planning! R~ aka MrsTGun

I wore the strap for the wedding then took it off for a day after photo shoot. My daughter tied me up then my husband did for our day after shoot. The dress photographs really well. I believe you'll be thrilled with your choice! CONGRATS!!! R~

I suspect the image came directly from the photographer who obviously sold the pic without my consent. While I'm flattered, I'm also quite upset and feel as though my privacy has been invaded by someone I trusted with my image. R~

good morning, fellow IBRH brides... i'm writing this morning to say...be sure to READ your photographer's contracts including the fine print. here's the story...i've become fast friends with a photographer who happens to live part-time in the USA and part-time in jamaica. well, during one of her recent trips to jamaica, she was flipping through a magazine and discovered an ad featuring one of my bridal shots. while i'm incredibly humbled by the thought that i'm featured in an international magazine, i wasn't alerted by my wedding photographer that this would happen and am feeling quite peeved that my image was used without my knowledge. it feels as if the photographer didn't even think i'd ever see the ad...because what are the chances that my friend would? hmmm... original photo ad featured in wealth magazine in jamaica until next time, happy planning!! the entire resort is beautiful so wherever you decide to have your reception will be great! my honey and i spent a glorious few days at secrets silversands and were totally impressed with the resort's hospitable staff, incredibly chic rooms and all around fantastic ambience. congrats and good luck!!! The bags are hard to come by but they did come from the Jamaica Tourist Board...the newspaper you can get for free from Jamaica Tourist magazine..google em and they'll send those for free, postage paid and everything. The Jamaica Tourist board is a great resource, I got postcards, backpacks and tourist guides...all FREE...I know some brides that scored luggage tags from the Tourist Board too, I wasn't so lucky. CONTENTS San Antonio coffee-a nod to me and my honey's new hometown and the place where we got engaged and later married Scrabble Word-find Book and custom bookmark and pen Playing cards Luggage Tags First Aid kit Hand sanitizer Wet wipes Hangover Kit I also included our pre-boarding kit. And the Jamaica Travel guide along with the Jamaica Tourist newspaper. I created a custom topper and put them all in a Jamaica backpack!!!
