    We're planning to bring our own candles and chair sashes...our wedding coordinator said it's cheaper to buy in the US than to rent them in Jamaica.

    My fiance started doing research on our wedding rings and would like to take the lead on this. He has wonderful taste in jewelry. This is one less task for me to worry about.

    I like #1 with #5 flowers...those flowers are so unique and gorgeous I would worry that the tall vases in #2 may tip over (if you have children attending or the wind is strong) and may block guests' view of each other?

    This is a really helpful thread! We're planning to ask our guests to RSVP 6 months before our wedding date, and will give ourselves about one month to do follow-up calls or emails for stragglers -- before finalizing the guest list. My fiance said we're only doing one follow up and that's it.

    I've seen many beautiful Trash the Dress photos on some photographers' websites and it looks like so much fun. My fiance is not too thrilled about messing up his expensive suit. When you trash your wedding dress in the ocean, are you really damaging your wedding dress (or is it possible to dryclean and save the dress as keepsake)? Thanks.
