From one Texas girl to another, Welcome!!! You have done quite a bit! I sent mine out at the 11 month mark, just to give our guests the proper notification after we signed a group room agreement. Prior to doing that though, I read that some brides send them out 3-4 months in advance. It just all depends on your guests, you know them better than anyone else. As long as those who you know for sure will attend are in the information loop, that's all that matters. Good Luck!

I'm getting married at the Cancun Palace on April 28, 2012. I know a recent bride has posted pictures on her profile (whereyaheaded) and her mom posted a really great review of the wedding. There are so few of us that we have to stick together!

The postcard was $1.23 without postage ($1.69 with postage) vs. $2.78 w/o stamps ($3.24 w/ postage) each to have them professionally designed. So with the 50 I made, I saved $78 total.

Thanks for the advice ladies! I think they are starting to work together better after the initial grandstanding. I actually did send them an email with three dresses that I liked and thought would be figure flattering for all. The drama began with a bridesmaid going to try on the dresses that I chose and relaying her experience to the others. Now they are all working together on my bridal shower and the "out of towners" are making plans to attend, which is great. Here's hoping their new found togetherness sticks. What would I do without you ladies to vent to and bounce ideas off? Thanks again!
