I talked to my WC, Silvia at the Beach and asked her a similar question. If me and my FI stay at the Suites and most my bridesmaids stay at the Beach can they come to the Suites the day of? And she said no unless a day pass was paid for :-( Kinda sucky but I think we have officially decided to stay at the Beach. We will use our suite and my mom's suite to get ready for the wedding. haven't read the next cpl pages since your post yet but in case no one has answered your question yet.... I believe more women end up choosing the Beach for the wedding because it is cheaper to stay at the Beach property for the guests. If you have your wedding at the Suites and people stay at the Beach you or they will have to pay a for a day pass in order for them to come onto the Suites property. Hope that helps.

Wow! That's crazy how so many people cancelled! But your right more $$$ back in your pocket and they will be the ones missing out and wishing after the fact that they went to your fabulous wedding! So, I'm just curious how many bags you will be bringing to Jamaica. I would think will all your wonderful DIY items that you might need a moving company to help :-) Are you having people in the wedding party help you carry some of it down? Good luck packing :-)

All those flowers sound beautiful but I kinda feel like I shouldn't have to spend so much $$ on flowers when we are in Jamaica. Isn't Jamaica supposed to be the decorations? I know I will have flowers but think even $1000 for flowers is crazy. Am I just crazy or does anyone else feel this way? Oh and I think I just made the 150th post!!!! Can't wait to see all the awesome pics and templates! Anything I should check out first? :-)

I literally can't wait until you get back so we can hear and see all the wonderful pictures and stories from your beautiful wedding. You are doing such a great job. I feel your pain about not being able to sleep. I'm not even close to my date and find myself loosing sleep just thinking about my wedding. But you seem very prepaired! Just know that you have put alot of time and effort into all these things and it WILL all work out! :-) Good luck getting your beauty sleep :-)

Ok, so this has been happening for a while now and I just figured it would go away. But it hasn't and it is really starting to frustrate me and turn me off of the website. I'm not sure if its my error, my computer....or the website. Here's the problem. When I try to click on any forum it typically brings me to a blank blue screen. No information on the page. When I click back I get to the previous screen I was on, then I try to click on the forum again and sometimes it will load the page but most times it does not. Ahhhhh! It's really annoying! Is it something I'm doing or is there something going on w/ the website?

thanks for the advise ladies! I will aim to have my formal invitations out 6-7mo before our wedding date and my TA gave me a date of Feb 1st (our wedding date: Arpil 27th) so I guess I'll just use that :-) I wouldn't say we're going to have a large group. Prolly not the smallest but def not the largest. One of the brides on here shocked me. I think she had hundreds of people make it to their wedding! I can't imagine the planning that had to take place for all that to happen. What a grand celebration! I'm going to start a Facebook page for the guests who are on there. Great idea starrysim! That's great that you are so laid back in your planning! I'm kinda like that too. But I do worry about when the resort will need things by? Such as the # of guests and that last wedding details document. I think it says to send that to them asap but what does that mean? Like a month before the wedding, is that enough time? This forum is a life saver and always so helpful. I'm so thankful to have all you wonderful and helpful brides :-)

bruceg05, I'm sorry your having such a bad week! That is sooooo unfortunate and weird about your MOH! You would think the people that you asked to be in your wedding would feel honored to be able to be apart of your guys' big day. It sounds like w/ her attitude she shouldn't be allowed to even come to your wedding and then she can brag about how she doesn't have to pay the expense of air and hotel but then she unfortunately won't be able to see her good friend on her most wonderful and joyous day. I know its easier said than done, but try to relax and know that no matter what happens.....things happen for a reason. Tell the people who are stressing you out how you are feeling but remember that people are going to do what they want to, no matter what but atleast you expressed your feelings. Do you have a pic of your dress? We/I would love to see it!

HATE early mornings at the gym! Unless its a late night at the gym. I stay up late at night and sleep in late, so if I went to bed at a normal time I probably wldn't have the energy to go to the gym in the am but can go at like 11am Downhill skiing?

Ok, so let me begin by saying that I LOVE Jennifer Lopez!!! But I thought I would start a thread about why she keeps getting married and then divorced? With out researching her marriage or her excessively I think she has been married 3 or 4 times? I totally agree in love and getting married but how I feel now is if you haven't found the right one after 3 failed marriages....then maybe marriage doesn't agree with you and you should stop tying the knot? What does everyone else think? Should a woman keep getting married even after multiple failed attempts? Don't yell at me for my opnion, I just wanted to get other people's opinion. :-)

I would try to explain to him how unconfortable it would make your mom and hopefully he will understand and be considerate of the family wedding.

We had a similar issue. I wanted him to be more involved which created some arguements but he sat me down one day and said, to prevent further arguements you need to know that guys do not care about these little details that you women care about, so please stop getting upset with me when I tell you that the save the dates look fine and I don't elaborate on them. I'm doing the best I can with him choosing what he is interested in and trying not to ask him too much about his opinion on things I know he doesn't care about. If he asks I will tell him and I will tell him about the big things but i try not to ask his opinion too much because he prolly won't have one that is worth while or it will be the oppossite of mine and I'm not having that! :-)
