Hey Ladies! I am getting ready to book my hair/makeup. I'm debating on whether or not to have it done in the spa or having it done back in my room where it's more relaxing and I can actually have food, etc. Please let me know what you have done and what works best in this situation. My main thing is I don't wanna be rushed and I want it as chill as possible and just a fun time. It's only me and my MOH that will be needing the services. Thanks for any help and advice!

Hey chiquita! Just saw that our dates are pretty close! My actually wedding date is 2/23/13 but we will be there on our honeymoon till 3/3/13 so we'll be there at the same time. We may even run into each other! Re: dress shopping...I did the same thing and just took my mother and MOH. Too many people and you get too many opinions and it's not all that helpful. Good luck with all your planning!

What kind of pens or markers did you use? I was looking at some at Michaels, but unsure how they would hold up on the seashells.

Wow Great Job! They look amazing! Unfortunately my handwriting is not quite as nice as yours...so I'm still kind of on the fence about writing on them. Very nice work though!

The Wolferts- I am also doing the sand dollar ornament place cards and would love to see a picture yours once you are finished with them...which I guess would have to be soon since your date is coming up next weekend! Congrats! My wedding isn't at El Dorado until February, but I'm already trying to get a head start on all these little details. Anyways, not sure If i want to try writing names on them or just attaching a card to the sand dollars instead. Any help would be much appreciated!

My date is NEXT February 23rd (2013)...I love getting these tips and "insider information" from you ladies to help me with my planning stages! Re: the floating candles...you can purchase those at Michael's ahead of time if you want to save $... but just make sure the size is large enough. Congrats ladies and can't wait to hear more about your big day!!!

I would definitely be interested in the webinar. As some of the other ladies stated...I have already booked at El Dorado Royale, but this would still be great to get some questions answered as well as other perks!

For booking our hotel I was given and locked into the current rates for me and my guests. For the wedding pkg etc, I will be booking that after the new year so that will be 2012 rates. The earlier the better!

Yay! So glad to see other 2013 brides out there! We are booked at the El Dorado Royale for February...sooo excited. It's going to be hard to wait another year and a half! We sent out our save the dates out already, as soon as we booked a resort. I've been slowly working on getting stuff for the OOT bags and gifts for the parents. Also ordered some of the free things from vistaprint (return address labels, photo sharing card, keycard/tip holder inserts, etc.) I refuse to become a bridezilla and I really don't want to stress about stuff so I'm definitely trying to get a headstart. Also financially if I can purchase things gradually throughout the next year and a half that will help! Best of luck to all you ladies and welcome!!
