    So I'm trying to plan out seating space (number of tables, centre pieces etc) and OOT bags for an indefinite number of people... it's so difficult to buy in bulk... I'm going to end up with 20 extra of everything, 20 few of everything or somewhere in the middle... We have lots of people saying they would come, Im interested to see how many people actually do tho. Difficult to plan around an unknown number of people. Guess its one of the pitfalls of DW

    I really like the idea of using the bridemaids bouquets in the centerpieces, have it all set up, and once ceremony and pictures are done all they have to do is drop them in to a vase. Wouldnt work for me though seeing as Im having just my sister standing at my wedding.

    Yup exactly , easy enough. Some have more options then others. There is a thread on here with just pictures of different resorts wedding Gazebos. Seems to me most of them either have it on the beach or at a Gazebo. Call the hotel or just narrow down your search to a few and look on there websites or try and find them on here, Tons of info in the forums for specific resorts.

    Every package Ive looked at says they can do a party of 2 to however many you want. Just have to look at the different resorts and see where you guys want to go. Really its an awesome idea, you dont have to factor anyone else in to it, or the cost of having the wedding in mexico, other then the ceremony costs. Most resorts would have on there website if they having wedding services. Most of them do.

    Im really liking the chiffon dresses. My dress is not chiffon, and everytime I see a dress like this I wonder if its what I should have gone with, or atleast tried one on. I chiffon dresses always looks so beautiful in the wedding pictures, all billowy and pretty in the breeze.

    Just reading a wedding website and it says a new trend is having your bridesmaids wear Skirts and a Top. Wondering if anyone else seen this? Are seen it actually used in a wedding? Interesting concept. Perhaps more wearable after the wedding? hmmm Gonna think about this one.

    I think the dress is really beautiful, its too bad you didnt get the reaction you wanted. I think it might be natural to think maybe you could have picked a better dress? I sometimes wonder myself because it was actually the one and only dress I tried on ( I put it on every now and then to reaffirm its awesome) But I personally think your dress is very flattering on you and there is no reason they shouldnt have been wowed. Maybe they were waiting for your reaction? Like you know how people think u should cry when its THE dress?

    Oh Im sorry, that wasnt very clear. I meant you have to pay for the shipping when you purchase it, and also the shipping when you return it. My bad.

    Yeah its unfortunate it would seem the resort tries to milk you for money when your already bringing them in so much business. I wonder if you told them that you got a quote for much cheaper if they would match the price? Probably just turn around and say no outside flowers or something stupid like that.

    If your ordering from Davids Bridal online and you live in Canada just hope that you like them, real bummer is there is no free shipping, or returns, so it can cost you a lot to try on a pair of shoes and then decide if you like them. I learned the hard way. BUT it was an easy return, no problems with that.

    I dont think people realize that there is a cost per person for destination weddings. I know I didnt until I started my planning.

    Could even look in to having a reserved table and a specific club maybe? one thats close for the guests to get to. Still depending on the amnt of people you have attending. Might be a better party at the club. Hard to have a dance party if ya only have a handful of people .

    Do you have a lot of decor? Because I keep reading about people taking it with them on the plane, paying the extra for an extra bag, or getting other people to carry it in there luggage.

    I dont think it would be tacky, destination weddings are kind of a do what you feel thing. But I would look at the number of people who are going to be at your weddding, and you said the young people go to a club? Are you going to have a lot of older guests who would be left out?
