I purchased Sottero Midgley JSM1235 in Ivory and Pewter , I got it for $600 as a sample that was for sale on Ebay, the wedding store I had tried it on was selling it for $1800 I just know its gonna cost a lot to get it hemmed because of the heavy embroidery

Cant help with an American TA. But you are so lucky, travel from the states is beyond cheaper then from Canada. Looks like November is a busy time for weddings at the DreamsPB. I was told it is a cheaper time for Group Travel to DR.

Yeah its load off, now I have to just stop myself from looking at other resorts and no second guessing, Decision is made and its final. I thought I had sent off an email asking for extra information regarding my choices, havent got anything yet, think I will send off another one, its been several weeks now. Oh Taupe and Coral I bet would look nice. I really love green and purple so think I will going with that, with perhaps some silver accents. I am quite excited about picking out the little things, except for shoes, I think shoes might pose a problem. Kind of undecided about going with purple or silver.. hmmm oh well got a bit of time to decide yet.

How many people do you have in total? For now I only have 10 adults and 2 children. Maybe if my numbers jump a little higher I should look in to the Jellyfish, ofcourse like with so many other things you have to plan ahead, at this time its hard to guess just how many people will actually go.

Oh wow! My date is November 19 And Im in Alberta! awesome. Do you know if Dreams Palm beach sends out extra information to those who have already put a deposit down? Ive seen it be the case with other resorts on here. I feel like a lot of my stress has been lifted now with having my date, and having the most important people to me booked, and having enough now to call it a group booking, so that's a load off. Do you have your colors picked out?

I live in Grande Prairie and its fairly limited here for shoes too! I had ordered one pair of shoes online and unforunately they did not fit right, so then I had to pay to send them back. Im thinking of just ordering a few from there and sending the ones I dont want back. I was thinking purple shoes too!

Does the resort send you any more information then what is available after you confirmed and deposit? Like pictures of cakes, flowers etc you choose from? My deposit went through but I never got a confirmation email, I need to put my deposit down now on the Vacation package.

Does anyone have pictures of "The Plaza" ceremony location? I tried searching this thread but nothing comes up, I just filled out my request form for the dates in November, Im feeling a little behind schedule but am excited to have solid quotes and now to book the date with the resort. Im leaning toward the Fountain but I dont remember seeing any pictures of another spot other then the Beach

Im agreed with not trying anymore dresses on. Say Yes to the Dress would tell you not to either. Im fighting the urge myself but I know the dress I bought is really awesome and looks good on me. The one.. well the ONE I tried on (that was it). I can tell you I didnt have anyone with me and there was no crying involved.

I dont think a welcome dinner is neccesary. I think I will be trying to do the same, make an arrangement for everyone to come and meet at a bar at a certain time. Seems easy enough. Nothing formal

Can someone who been there please tell me about the beach on the Tulum side? Is really as rocky as people complain about on TripAdvisor? In every way the Gran Bahia fits for my wedding, but I still look at pictures on TripAdvisor and with people complaining about the beach, I think it looks a lot more interesting then just all sand everywhere you look. I guess I just worry about other people being pissy about the beach.

Yeah that is a crazy price! Any other places around the resort that are cheaper? Its fine that they would go all out because its there wedding ( I personally would have picked a little more expensive resort if I wasnt concerned about anyone else affording it) but how could you expect most people to afford that?

Yeah I think its a lot like a dress could make it as formal or casual as you like.

My assumption would be they are crap if they need to create fake accounts then.
