Tiffany's is AMAZING (but so expensive). I loved their bigger rings, but chose mine because it was unique. I, too, liked the legacy idea and hope to pass my whole ring on. Only problem is that Tiffany's doesn't make a matching band for mine so I might get their Tiffany Jazz band or Metro band to wear on my right hand. Anyone else considering that?

I put a preliminary response card in the STD that gives like 6 weeks for a response. So people who are expecting to come will let us know and then the others that are not coming can put they aren't coming. I figure those that say they are not coming are probably pretty set in their decision. That way I figure our number will go down from the initial RSVPs, so at least we will have some sort of maximum number. There is also a section under the yes we are coming part that asks whether or not they are booked or not. When we send the actual invites, we will have another RSVP that asks for a more final decision.

I am freaking out! Did anyone else have to sign a contract?! We were supposed to sign it within 3 days of our confirmation and completely forgot! Is this okay or am I going to lose my date?

Does anyone have some sort of schedule they used for planning? I'm trying to figure out what I need to do after these STDs are done. Btw, here is a pic of the envelope we are making. My fiancé has been AMAZING. He basically just jumped in and designed the whole thing with the materials I chose (pays to marry and Engineer because he's a damn perfectionist right now). He's done a lot of cutting and measuring and template making. They are turning out GREAT. It's really cool to see how involved and excited he is for the planning. The boarding passes are not done yet, I'm just indecisive about the layout.

And I love the pictures from the engagement! That's a great idea about the OOTs! I'll have to keep it in mind when I start getting responses back. I have no idea what to expect for guest attendance when I send out invites. We have so much family and so many friends that this may end up being a headache. What's the expected turnout on a DW anyway?

Thanks for all the advice ladies... I didn't think that was too early but my friend did a DW and didn't send them out till Octoberish for a May wedding. So I didn't know if I was jumping the gun!

Is it crazy for me to send out STDs like 10 months in advance? I'm assuming not, but just thought I'd look into it. I finished my draft STD today and it's near perfect! Loved the boarding pass STD idea. So I took it and ran. DIY is so much better than I thought. It's fun (I'm guessing the novelty will wear off) and it allows you to make it just as you want!

It's official! My date is confirmed! May 28th, 2012! I will be a Memorial Day bride. Bunch of questions for you knowledgable ladies. Looking at getting married at IRHB in May/June of 2012 with quite possibly a large amount of people (100ish). 1) Is the 800 dollars for Uncle Tony's private a flat rate? 2) for the wedding package, it says it's for 8 people with an extra charge for others. Is that charge just for cake and things or what does that include? I guess what I want is a beach wedding, Uncle Tony's and cake. Anybody got a ballpark figure on that for 100 people?
