Hi Laurelyn, I am not sure, it depends on your city. I know in Edmonton we have one bbw "outlet" in our outlet mall area but to be honest, the prices n deals are pretty comparable between regular stores and the outlet stores. I may pop by a mall store today and I will let you know how the prices are.

Thanks for the feedback. I am in Canada and decided not to order from drugstore.com but they have migraine cold patches that got better reviews and are supposed to last 8 hours...Are you in Ireland or the U.S. just a thought...they are said to last longer. -
Okay so here is the scoop on Drugstore.com order. I was going to place it, my order was 87.00 plus 5.40 duty and 28.00 shipping. My fiance was leery...said make sure it's a reliable site..so I checked for customer reviews and a lot came back negative..I would say 80% gave it 1 out of 5 stars. So given that it is hit and miss, I chose not to take the chance. Sorry, I was excited too..My fiance is gong to the states for a conference in Oct so will likely get him to get the shout to gos and a few other things. I did find two Canadian sites that provide health and grocery items with free shipping in Canada. I may order vitamins and supplements in bulk from them as prices are good. www.well.ca canada only store

Hi, I have heard the same thing about pepto and immodium...I was told to use one of the either. I do know that if you take too much pepto it can give you what is called black tongue...where all your taste buds die and fall off...they do grow back...lol How do I know this? Because a few years ago I was sick with a cold and went to the dr. and she examined my mouth and exclaimed. I had a black tongue..lol..and mine was due to a virus but she did say people using antacids often get it! FIY.

Wow! I think you have all your bases covered! Great job! Where did you get your bikini bags? That is a great idea! I think I will hit BBW for the same stuff as you. I too am trying not to over do it. I am having issues finding nice and cheap sewing kits, some at the dollar stores are too big! I am going to put them together myself with some cardstock like another DIY bride did. I went to three different Michael's Stores and had no luck finding the sewing kits there.

Thanks everyone! It is always nice to get a third opinion. KKimi, he likes the last one, I like it but for some reason feel like it needs more so I am drawn to the circle style. I want to add either our location , date or both? We are renewing our vows back here in the church so I would just take the date out after and reuse the logo on our ATR invites. Do you have a monogram? Would you put the location and date? I don't want it to look too busy. I guess I could have two monograms and use them for different things...

I really apologize, I thought I had read all the find print. I did some searching last night for a similar Canadian site. The closest I found was Well.ca but they don't have much to travel sized products. I think they have to let you know of all costs before you agree to purchase don't they? I didn't think they could add duty after I agreed to purchase.

Hi Jennifer, I didn't place an order but did go to international like you said and yes I guess we have to pay shipping which sucks. But, depending what else you buy, I am planning on placing a larger order to make the shipping worthwhile...I don't think it should change much unless I order heavy stuff. Vitamins-Nature's Bountry are at least 25% cheaper then WalMart prices!!! Tip for Canadian brides too- there was a tip in the wedding dress thread about one bride who wore stick on cold patches under her wedding dress to stay cool. I have looked in WalMart, Shoppers, Rexall and none carry these. Drugstore.com carries them...The first type is called Migraine cold patches...I am going to try these as I suffer from bad migraines and can't always stop moving around at work to put ice. The other type is BeKoool. Both you can cut as much or as little as you want. Sorry to burst many brides' bubbles about the shipping costs but like I said, if you make a large enough order, I calculated that it is still worth it!

Thanks for the tip. Here in Canada it is more difficult to find the stick on cold patches....I have looked the last few days in stores. I was just on drugstore.com and they have a couple different cold patches, one is to treat migraines but you can cut it so you choose what size of patch you stick on. I am a severe migraine sufferer and have never seen this so I will try them for both uses. Canadian brides can order them from here but there is shipping but worth placing a large order on vitamins etc.well worth it for the savings! -
Hi Ladies, After reading a lot of threads on how to make your own monograms, I have come up with 5 different ones. I haven't put in our date or place yet. But if you can tell me which one you prefer. I just figured out how to add a poll, so if you can tell me which one you prefer 1 to 5. Thanks! Thanks!

Hi Lianee and other addicted Oot baggers...lol It is bad for me as I am a teacher and am off all summer so I have lots of time to scout for deals. I told my fiance I wouldn't be gone long...four hours later..lol.. So here is what I scoped out at the different stores. Giant Tiger- they actually had some nice sundresses and tops for women But I refrained. The one thing I chose not to get that I thought was a good find were insect wipes for 57 cents but honestly, I have never found mosquitoes to be a huge problem in the Mayan. Unless you are doing outdoor excursions, so I am not including that, but good find for some of you. Liquidation world can be hit and miss, I may try the other location here in Edmonton. The only thing I thought was a good deal was men's Axe deoderant, 4$. You just need to check expiration dates on things. Dollar Giant has some good finds...nice nail files etc. I did find really nice Turquoise decorative sand for our blending of sand ceremony. The other dollar stores only have blue and red. They have turquoise, pink, green and ivory color. I am going to order the other stuff online I think. But I will keep you posted if I find anymore great websites. I feel bad that you all are buying more stuff because of me!

Tori, Check out the beauty.com side too..there are good cosmetics. Unfortunately no great Oot bag finds but some nice stuff for a bride maybe! I am going to check out Liquidation world here in Edmonton today...I think other cities in Canada have these. They may have great finds. I am also going to check Giant Tiger...good discount store and I will let you know if I find anything!

Sorry Jennifer! I didn't think to search for shout to go wipes til today! I went to a few stores hoping they would have them, then I looked on ebay like you said. Then when someone posted about advil on the drugstore site, I thought I would look. Like I said, if you can't find advil let me know, I will be scouting out dollaramas in the next few days and will check for advil. I want to give advil and tylenol. I found out my new in laws may be insulted if I give them Tylenol...I guess there was a big poisoning scandal with Tylenol in the UK a few years ago so a lot of people avoid Tylenol...oops. It is good to have both anyways. I can't believe the mark up on products, Poly to go is still 7.00$ at Walmart and Advil is 3$ for the travel size!

Hi Ladies, I am glad to hear that I am not the only one addicted to doing these OOT bags!!! Every time I got out, I stop by stores to see what kind of deals I can find. Thanks for the tip on Rexall drugs, I got my tide for the sink packs there, cheaper then Walmart. They had really neat tiny spray sunblock 30spf by the tills, but there was only 1 left. There aren't many Rexall drugs in Edmonton, so I may check out Rexall drugs in Calgary. Have any of you Calgary brides seen them? I too can't find Shout wipes, but I came across a great web site Drugstore.com....has some travel stuff but overall great site for vitamins etc...Way cheaper then even Walmart!! And if you spend 25$ or more, shipping to Canada is free. Nice Oot bags from Dollarama! They are the same ones as mine! Question- Are any of you brides giving pashminas to your bridesmaids? I am wanting to give each of my three bridesmaids one with their initials embroidered on it. I looked online on ebay last night and there are a few companies that are reasonable 25$ or so for 1 pashmina. Have any of you found any locally? I found some nice silk like ones at Le Chateau Outlet for 25$ but that doesn't include initials embroidered. If anyone is looking for Aloe Vera Gel, my Walmart carried it for 1.57$ per bottle so I bought lots for my guests and me as I have already burned this week!

Hi MJKH, I see someone already told you about having to have 150 posts to get access to attachments. The other option that I used was I paid 27$ I think to bypass that and become a supporter that gives you access to all attachments. I was impatient, and I am still only at 80 posts I think. It really depends how much you are on here but I seem to be on here quite a lot being on holidays. Access to the attachments quicker definitely helps with planning. Good luck!

Hi there! I came across the Calgary 2012 brides thread and I am thinking that there must be other Edmonton brides to be that are escaping the Canadian cold to get married next year! It would be great to hear from you, to share deals and ideas. Take Care and happy planning!

Hi I just found this forum. Are there any other 2012 Edmonton brides out there?
