Well done! I think the white & pink ones are awesome! I agree with Tori about the turquoise, love the feather but I would try adding blue beading with the metal, or a little metal star/flower? with blue stone to bring the blue to the center. I'm going to try to make my own as well! Did you get the petals at the dollar store or cut them yourself? Also, where did you find the feathers? Thanks!

Hi girls! I went to la vie en rose, they aren't clearing out the $10 ones, they sell the $1 for $1 all the time they are blue and have a drawstring. They are cute, and they're $1 so not bad! I picked up a few for the BM's, may go back for more. I'm going to be delivering the OOT bags at the welcome party the first/second night we are all there, it will depend on what time we arrive, if we all arrive early, it will be that day, if not, it will be the next day! I'm basically going to have everyone meet at the lobby bar or something and hand them out there. I'll assemble them when I arrive, will need to recruit some help Where do you get the flip flop manicure sets? I'm worried about carrying all of this as well! lol! I keep stashing all of this stuff into closets but one of these days i'm going to have to figure out just how much I have and how much space it's going to take up!

Hi ladies! One of the IBRHB brides checked with the coordinator (twice) and confirmed we can release them. Also, other brides have released them at their respective resorts so am assuming they travelled with them without a problem. Hope that helps! I intend to release them at my wedding Can't wait! It's going to be so pretty! Also - there is a separate thread on sky lanterns which includes a lot of info on where to get them, etc....

I read somewhere in this thread a while ago that one of the brides asked the pharmacist about pepto and immodium or pepto and advil/tylenol, I can't remember what it was but I know for sure pepto was involved, anyways, something about the interaction between the two and she was encouraged NOT to include both. So that being said, I found this link to research the interactions: http://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/ maybe just check with a pharmacist? I think the two are similar but don't do the exact same thing, pepto should help with heartburn, whereas i'm not sure that immodium does. Sorry, I don't think I answered your question! lol

Here's what I've got so far (These are not done! this is only what I have purchased so far): From Dollarama: Jute bags poly to go bandaids wipes kleenex travel advil (i'm making my own first aid kits - opted to pick up the poly to go and make them myself rather than purchasing the first aid kits from the $ store) From BBW: mini candles (tropical) hand sanitizer shower gel (found some in island cotton scent, so beach, love it!) From Avon: lip balm aloe flip flop playing cards For my girls, i'm adding some extras: Flip flops Bikini bags Lip gloss I still want to buy: shout wipes immodium key/tip holder w/ lanyard or wrist coil Program/week's activities CD with songs from the week (a lot of bob marley and songs we will be using throughout) Am contemplating: underwater cameras games magazines mugs I'm also going to be buying the following to hand out wedding day: rafia fans sky lanterns I also contemplated bubbles or sparklers but think it might be overkill! lol! Maybe the kiddies will get bubbles in their bags, with some beach toys and coloring books. Ok.. i think that's about it right now! I can't wait to put them together! I'll be doing a sample and will take pics, I want to see how they look Thanks for your help ladies! I still have many months to go but just couldn't help myself! lol

I browsed a little and so far while the deals do seem pretty good, nothing seemed so much cheaper that it would be worth it for me if there is shipping and duties, in fact, I think I will end up paying more or about the same. Templates and downloadable items are found in various threads. Try searching using the word templates, or be more specific, like passport invites templates and I'm sure you'll find lots!! There are a lot of threads that girls have started just share templates, you just have to search:)

With ACV the bride and groom actually do get special treatment, we are upgraded to first class and my dress will be hung up in a proper closet, which is fantastic since it's all raw silk and will wrinkle! Sorry to hear about your experience, US Air sounds awful!!

How much do you like and or trust your TA? When I booked ACV, we could only secure 29 seats on a plane because that was all that was left for the day we wanted. I've talked to six different TAs in my research and not one suggested I wait. I wish I was a TA!!! I feel like we have all been getting varying info, booking the hotel/group rates has been the most stressful part so far!! I've also heard of other incentives like free room upgrades, cocktail hour, etc... Again varying from bride to bride. I have no idea how this works or what can be negotiated! Ok, sorry to hijack the thread!!!
