    You ARE brave I've read that you can wash them in a washer, I've also read that a lot of stores do that! Turns out a lot of dresses are 100% polyester so it's no problem.. I would think though that if there is extensive beading or anything it could be tricky?? What material was your dress? I need to have mine cleaned before the wedding, bought one off the rack, I wish I could just do it myself! lol

    Hi ladies! My FI and I are talking about having our wedding - either the ceremony or the both ceremony and reception of the resort. Anyone else doing the same? Or... any past Brides with helpful info? I've seen a little bit of information here and there, would love to know how it went, was it easy to plan, what to consider, prices, etc... Anything and everything! thank you

    Thanks for sharing ladies! I think we'll stay apart if we can figure it out, I'm sure he can stay with one of his GM or I can stay with one of my girls. I too want to build up the anticipation, although I'm afraid to leave him with his friends! They might over-indulge in the drinks and end up hungover!

    I was also wondering what else people are putting in their bags? So far I've seen flip flops, sunscreen,cozies, chapstick, advil, kleenex, puzzles, cards.. any other ideas? These are all great ideas, since I can't seem to find my creativity anywhere I'm hoping to "borrow" Thank you!!!

    Hi ladies! If you and your party stay at the beach property, can you go to the suites and use their facilities (restaurants, pools, beach, etc...)?? I'm starting to get some quotes back for the suites and the prices seem really high so we may need to move it to the beach.

    I do really like the Bari Jay styles, they always look so pretty! RW also has some really pretty dresses (i think someone may have mentioned that!!).

    A friend of mine found her dress at White and then actually purchased it at Dina Alonzi's because she managed to get it for a fraction of the cost! Her and her friend both bought their dresses there so they had a little negotiating power.

    Hi girls! So I've been thinking about having our wedding off the resort, rather than at the resort. It would be on a private beach and we can have the reception there as well. Basically all of our guests would be transported to/from the location and we would have the ceremony, pictures and the reception there, and then we could head over the resort disco for more dancing. Anyone else planning to do the same?? Would love to chat about it, get your thoughts and exchange ideas?

    You're so creative!! Any more great ideas? I love all of these suggestions, tropical flowers and accessories or a few DIY projects will definitely make it work!! I have lots of time to think about it and with all the summer clothes out now will have lots to choose from. I need to see lots of pics I think so I can visualize the different colors and the black dresses against the tropical setting.

    If you look behind the mannequin in the pic you can see a glimpse of the pink, I'll try to post a picture of the dress in pink. It's fuchsia colored so maybe not as bright as you are looking for but might work?

    It sure does!! And if it goes long like the Toronto garbage strike did, we could be looking at a few months without mail! I'm sure the government will step in at some point but still inconvenient if you're trying to plan a wedding!

    You're MOH had a fit?! I hope my girls don't throw tantrums!! lol.. I don't think it would be hot as long as you get the right material. Something like a really light chiffon or something similar would be fine in the sun in any color. I'm just not sure if it would look weird in pictures with black dresses and a beautiful beach setting. I'm really torn on colors because I also really love the tropical pinks/greens/yellows/oranges...

    Wanted to add... these dresses are $69, which in my opinion, is awesome I really don't want to spend (or have the girls spend) a fortune on bridesmaids dresses they are never going to wear again.
