@@MacyLyn Yes you have too, recently Barcelo change the option to pay 2 night stays for a Photographer to avoid the outside vendor fee, even as a guest... -
@@maili Good luck on your planning, I have a suggestion for you, you do not really need to do a legal ceremony in Mexico, It is not an obligation, you can do a representative wedding and you may save money and administrative paperwork and time. Also I do strongly recommend you that the minister speaks your local lenguaje and he/she is a great minister so she/he makes you feel the emotional in the moments of getting married not just a simple and bored ceremony, this is important for pictures, really important!!! this does not happen in a legal ceremony, because it need to be in spanish, legally, and the translation just makes it senseless from my point in case you want to see one of my wedding in La Zebra to have an idea what I am talking about just go and browse more of my work it is true moments and if you need anything else from me, let me know! http://www.luckiephotography.com/la-zebra-tulum-wedding-photography-caitlin-scott/ Cheers!!

I am afraid to say that all Tulum closes early, restaurants and bars, at 11pm everything is dead, also if you want to get a beer you have to loo for it at the town, not in the turistic area, why don't you start early? well I am sure you already exored this option, Cheers!!! and good luck with your planning!

@@calgarybride2015 Here in the tropics, there are a bunch of spiders, thanks God they moved when people arrives and settle, but many spiders don't, this is your lucky day, tarantulas run away from humans, so If you see one, It is because you are in the jungle, although you may see one in a resort, It will be 1 out of 1000 chances I love the nature and go into jungle, I work in many resorts and also stay a lot in them, in 5 years I have never see one in a resort happy planning!!

After the 4 years I have been working in the area, Resorts' WC are very busy, they barely sit down in their computers for days, weddings never stops and there are more good review than bad, at the end, every business has a portage of people that will ever going to be please, so the point ism I believe the, WC, do a good job, they are just under pressure with some many things to do and some of them do more than just one wedding in one day, take into consideration! just be patience I know answering in a print way helps more and give you a state of calm I want to hare some weddings, maybe my favourites I did and love from tis beautiful resort! http://www.luckiephotography.com/category/mexico/cancun/now-sapphire-cancun/

what a shame I love that place, small enough to find your guest all around and have a great time before, during and after the wedding, well I hope they change that soon! Here my favorite wedding I did in Azul Fives! http://www.luckiephotography.com/azul-fives-playa-del-carmen-wedding-photography-angela-jesse/

For those whoa re getting married in Beach Palace, foist, I love the food, It is a great taste! second, love the idea of having a wedding on the top of a building, why? well you can see the whole ocean plus the lagoon in front of the ocean, the light is great in the afternoon! and for those looking for a beach ceremony, the ocean color is just perfect blue! If you want to take a look at some of my post about this resort, you will find out why I love it! http://www.luckiephotography.com/category/mexico/cancun/beach-palace/ By the way! The rooms are super confortable too!

I was told resort follow a boring or outdated rule of getting shoot, some of them where administrative personnel or had other work than a photographer, make sure your photographer has enough experience as a main photographer if you go for them. If you want a different vision of a real artist, look for an artist, I do my photography and I edit them, I know how will they look like at the end. Happy planning!!!

You may want to consider the size of the resort, the biggest the less you find your friends during the other days than the wedding, also if it is big check how many speciality and buffet restaurants, disco or not disco, for kids games hall, cafe shops, and how many bard in the pools they have, I am sure so many will love it, I stayed in one where there where no waitress around in the pool, so all inclusive but had to walk for my beverages and was not close! lastly, check that the hotel has the 24hrs room service included, if It is fuel service or limited during the night Happy planning!

the make up on pictures will be different all the time depending on camera, color correction, tone curves adjustments because all depends on photographer settings, if not a professional photographer then it will be worst due to the inaccurate process of a camera using automatic picture. it is better girls if you check reviews then contact the make up artists, you will know for sure if the artist is good and when you talk to them will realize about their passion for what they do, many people fake their websites with just pretty shoots, be careful, also a big company is exactly the oposite of what an artist look for, personalised attention, you can easily find out when they hire or outsourcing others to perform their own job It is my own opinion and does not rule the market Happy planning!

I can do amazing photos! -
I recommend you to do your ceremony 3 hours before sunset, this way you will have great colours in the pictures, as well as different shape of light for the family session and Bride and Groom session as well, more important, enough time in case something delays and It happens often. Sunset is on land side, so It is likely hard to have a great one during your ceremony, I would secure the bride and Groom shoots with a great sunset than a ceremony which is hard to do Good luck on your planning!
