My TA fwd the email over to me from Paradisus. I am not going to be a happy girl if it is true. I just emailed her as well to see what was going on.

Ours is the same day as well but at Paradisus Punta Cana and it is at 5pm. I've reserved our ceremony and reception spot, bought my dress, sent the STD, booked DJ and photographer. Happy Planning!! 10 months to go.. it is going SOOOO FAST!!

I agree!! We book HDC and haven't looked back! They have been so responsive and their work is amazing! We booked them for both photography and videography CONGRATS, you look amazing!! I found my dress the other weekend and I get it in Feb. I can't wait. I def felt like a princess as well! I will post a pic of it when I can

Hi anyansi, Congrats on the engagement and welcome to the forum!! I totally understand you being nervous because I think we were all right there with you when we first started but thanks to all the girls on here, the planning has been AMAZING!! I originally went with NOW Larimar for our wedding and they kept jerking me around. When my Travel Agent from DestinationWeddings.com helped me find PPC I booked right away because I was in love. I haven't looked back since I booked nor do I feel as nervous as I was when we were booked with NOW Larimar. I am working with Teresa and she is AMAZING!! I would highly recommend her if you can switch. She is VERY friendly and actually cares about your special day. A BIG CONGRATS to Katherine on your special day!! Please let us know how it goes. Hi sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Things have been crazy! We are having a 5pm Symbolic Wedding on August 11, 2012 We hired HDC for videography or photographer! We are having probably about 50 people. Teresa said those packages are wonderful for people with smaller groups, but with ours being so big she said La Carte will def be a lot cheaper. I also don't think that includes the Aisle runner.

I haven't gotten married there but I do know that Tersea said that they won't use your lighting you bring due to a fire hazard. They have all the lighting you can prob dream of I am sure or they can get it from an outside vendor. The centerpieces are up to you, just depends on what you want. For the beach ceremony I honestly don't think you need to add anything extra to the Chill out Chic package. I mean you are only going to be out there shortly! We are doing our reception poolside as well. It looks absolutely beautiful!! I actually posted pics of it above if you didn't see it. Do you have their Picasa photo link?? That shows different ideas you can use.

Hey ladies, wow I haven't been on all weekend and had 14 new posts!! I worked on my STD's all weekend and I am almost done finally! They are turning out awesome!! As for the the crabs and sand fleas.. Sorry to have scared some people but I didn't think of that at all until I talked to Teresea. She is def awesome and very helpful! We changed our reception of the pool side which is gorgous and very romantic! Above is different pics of the pool side reception. She told me depending on the size of your party, there are many different spots about the pool that you can have the reception/bar/dj We are getting married August 11,2012!

Agreed lots of reception options!! I choose the pool terrace due to hearing about sand flees and crabs at night. I don't need our guests getting bites We actually hired HDC Photography.. he has been awesome so far with responses.

Outside Photographer fee is $125 but I have heard of it being more expensive at other resorts. Depends on where you want to do your reception. We are doing our poolside terrace and they assure that it is private. The calculator is for people that want to a la carte mainly. Do you want me to send you some info if I can? Ladies, I was actually originally booked with NOW Larimar for our wedding and things were so much worse then this resort. I don't go one day without here from Tersea, she has absolutely been amazing and answered all of our questions so far. As far as reviews go you can't please everyone.. some people are just so picky! I am def glad we decided to finally stick with this resort because it is wonderful!!
