    I did not get negative feedback; our date is July 18, and we have made our RSVPs for the end of March. So far we have gotten ONE RSVP back in the mail. Quite a few people have called or texted us or the families to tell us they cannot come, or they contacted our travel agent right away, but apparently they thought the RSVP cards (postcards) were too cute to get rid of. Seriously? What are they going to do with them? Wish I had not spent money on stamps! Melissa, when is your final payment due? Ours is middle of April (which is why I made the RSVPs end of March)... Now I am a little worried that we will end up with people contacting between the RSVP and final payment date - or worse, after the final payment date - to come or not. I will just take it easy though - you book after that, you are on your own for group stuff I think. I have been collecting OOT stuff off and on throughout our engagement. This weekend I am putting together what I have for the people we know are coming - and maybe one or two extra. So glad I do not have 10 extra like you!

    This is almost exactly what we are doing! Can I ask how much it was to just engrave them the way you did? We originally wanted to, but with prices adding up the way they are... It would at least give me a ballpark. They look great, by the way!

    Are you doing OOT bags? You could always just "amp up" ones for them. (The girls I mean) Some ideas: pashminas (cheap!), flip flops, bronzer or tanning oil, aloe lip balm, sunscreen... You can find lots in clearance sections and in the dollar stores.

    Love it! I love the instrumental version. It will make an appearance during dinner. Other Disney songs: part of our slideshow at our AHR will have "So This is Love" from Cinderella, and I am walking down the aisle to Kiss the Girl - also instrumental.

    no handles are easier to pack... I personally like handles more. Just because I like having a handle! But no handles might be easier later in a car console?

    Aww, I am from Canada and never heard about this until coming on here. Maybe it is just eastern Canada? I sure wish it was a tradition around here too!

    This is awesome... I sure wish I would have found out about this at the beginning of the planning process for us! Out of curiosity, Samantha, where are you from if you do not mind me asking? We are 2 hours outside Calgary too, and went with a local travel agent here, but really I should have thought to look in Calgary, since that is where most of us are flying out of.

    Not for the wedding, but we have previously travelled for less than that, even for two weeks. We travel in July and August; prices are sometimes half what they are during peak season. But you have to like the heat! Haha! In Mexico, we went for two weeks at Palladium Vallarta (I believe it is now Gran Palladium though, so prices are probably higher). On the Mayan side, we went to - and absolutely loved - Grand Sirenis. Pretty good prices at both those places. Talk to a travel agent. You may find something!

    Those looking for free items: Try actually googling "free _____" (whatever you are looking for). You may be able to find a few items (though not near as many as they used to have!)

    Hahaha... and West Edmonton Mall is in Canada, not the States either. Just pointing it out! (No worries - I do not know many cities in Australia either!)
