I think it depends on your guests and such. We are going to have an iPod set up just for music during dinner. We also want to do our dances there, but the coordinator said that they usually do the first dances on the beach right after the ceremony. For the party, we are heading to the disco on the beach. I asked my brother to announce things. We will have a small group though, so that will be easier. As it stands now, this is our timeline: Ceremony Group picture Pictures on the beach - family first, then bridal party, then couple. As each "group" finishes, they can go to resort lobby lounge - I do not think we will do a private cocktail hour, we will just meet everyone. Meet at reception area Announcement Bride/Groom Dance Parents Dance (we are probably combining the father/daughter one with the mother/son one, then we are giving my mom and his dad the opportunity to dance at the same time if they wish... kind of like bringing together both families.) I think that is how it stands now, anyway!
