I found my dress!!
After months of not being sure about my wedding dress I went and tried some more on!
And I found THE one! I love it and am so glad I didn't settle! Let that be a leson to all the brides wo aren't are sure, IT is out there!
I'm going to take the "flower" off the front and add a red belt to match my BMs. So excited to wear this in 5 weeks!

Walmart has the wrist coils that alot of the brides use and the badge holders, I just can't remeber if they are zippered or not.
You can always use ebay, that's where I got mine.
Good Luck

Janet,
Your pictures are beautiful! I love the TTD shoots, can't wait for ours!
In regards to your amazing programs, did you make one for every guest? This is my project for the weekend and I'm not quite sure how many I should make. Mine double as fans so the male guests may use them but I really don't want to make 90 of them!
-
You did a really good job!
I love the brad you used, where did you get it?

Thank you Ladies! What would we do without BDW!
Thank you, originally we were planning on having a simple DW. But now we have almost 90 ppl coming, amazing photographer and I'm not sure the dress suits the occasion anymore.
The necklace I am having made is Swarovski crystals on 3 or 4 "invisable" strands to make it look like it's floating, if that makes sense.
Weight loss was a combination of exersice and strict protein diet.

I know what you mean about wanting to show off the new body, why not flaunt it right!? Anyways, its completely up to you and how the dress makes you feel. If you don't think its the one then go try some more on, you never know, you could find something you love better or not like anything out there and realize that this is the dress that makes you feel beautiful and you made the right choice. It's all about your confidence in the dress, you look amazing in it in the pic so I'm sure 15 lbs down you look even better now!
Congrats on the weight loss as well, have you just been eating well and working out?
Thanks Avens!
Originally I was going to get a sash made but the back details doesn't look right with a belt.
There was an ugly broach attached to the dress, and may replace it with a flower or another broach, if I keep it

Is there anyway you could add a flower or belt to it to jazz it up a bit? I know thats what I am doing - adding a different flower to the dress.
I'm going around this weekend to try some more dresses on, and keeping an eye on kijiji!
Wow, I do not envy any of you who are also planning your AHR at the same time as the wedding. My FI, Mom, and girlfriends won't let me even think about the AHR until we get back! But, we're having it in June in our backyard.

For your flowers, have you tried blossom bridal in Toronto? You may be close to the deadline but she is great to work with. I should be getting my proof photos right away. You and I both only have 44 days, so take a deep breath...I am calm now but will likely need you to help me calm down in a few weeks;) We are trying to get our ATR settled right now, pre travel packages out then the ATR invitations out. Not to mention a registry organized. One thing at a time and you will get it all done.
Hang in there!
I could bring it in a little more at the hips/just below, and will probably do that if I can't find anything else.

Interested, YES!
Do you have pictures?

Here is my dress, and although I know it looks good, I just think it is too simple. There is beading across the top which is really nice and I'm having my jewlery made to match, but I just lost 60lbs (15lbs less than this picture) and I think I want a dress with more detail at the bottom and more form fitting like a mermaid style.

We are doing pretty much the same thing as Nicky.
I can't comment on what sandles offers we are going through Island Routes, and hartering the catamran. It was much cheaper than going through our resort for the catamran.
Here is our contact if you are interested:

We got him a Titanium, for anumber or reasons, 1st the price, he has lost every ring that I've got him so we didn't want to pay too much for one that he may lose eventually. 2nd we plan on getting a white gold ring for our anniversary, I need (hehe) an eternity band to go a long with my E-ring and wed band, to complete to look, and we agreed that he will get another band to wear for special occasions. I am definately freaking out! 44 days to go, and I feels like there is so much to do!
I was planning on DIYing as much as possible to save money but #1 i'm not crafty! #2 there are not enough hours in the day!
So I've been feverishly contacting Real Touch florist to make my flowers, I've got one promising lead!
I am doing my own programs/fans, so that is this weeks project as my paper is in.
What I'm really stressing over (and I may have said this before!) is my dress. I really and truly don't think it is THE one! I bought it because it was simple and inexpensive, but I think it is just too simple! So I'm going to go try on a few more, of course I can't order one with only 1 1/2 months to go but maybe I'll get lucky with a sample or something.

Tori,
Glad you asked! I created our photobucket account at the beginning of the summer when I was placing a vistaprint order. I didn't really do my homework then and now that I look, we may upgrade to the "Pro" account for $2.99/month (I don't see us using for the next year at $24.99). Here is what is included in the free account:
Free accounts include:
- Unlimited storage for photos.
- Up to 500 videos permitted with up to 10 minutes in length per video.
- Maximum display size of photos is 2048x1536 pixels each.
- Maximum file size permitted is 5MB per photo and 500MB per video.
-
Tori,
We have set up a Photobucket account. I'm new to Photoshare sites too, but this one seems pretty easy.

DramaticAnnie,
I got my Bubbas engraved for the hubby and myself this weekend from "Things Engraved", I'm really excited to see how they turn out! I'll post a pic after I pick them up.

Janet your wedding and video look amazing!!
Can't wait to see you pics! and hear your stories!

We have a huge group coming with us, which means I'm up to approx. 55 bags.
There was no way we could afford to but a "survival kit" in everyones bag so instead we will make up a big tupperware container of everything that should be in there and have it available for our guests if they run out of something or forget something, so they don't have to pay the outrageous $ the gift shop will charge.
We're just going to tell them at the welcome party that it is there for them to use.
-
Tori,
If you haven't quite figured it out, I would email her, maybe she wants to go to DR in February!
-
Thanks MJKH, I know what I have to do,
I actually just made another hard decision to ask my not so partcipative father if he could help with the cost, and to my amazment he said yes!
So We're going with experience, and know to let my cousin down. I'm just going to tell her the truth that the photographer that I originally wanted pulled through... and i'm sorry .
It's funny how something so little can get you so worked up! It's not like anyone died or anything!
Now to get ahold of the travel agent! Who is never around when I need her the most!

Ladies, if anyone is on I could really use your advice,
I'm not going to re-type the whole story but the decision has to made tonight.

Amazing!!
We all knew your wedding was fabulous and the pictures to boot... but now the rest of the work knows too!
Congrats!

I'm sure your dress will be fine and alterations in time. It all the little details that are so stressful. I feel you pain!

So the bridal shop called yesterday to tell me it was in and when would I like to come for my first fitting? I suggested next Friday and then they told me that their seamstress is booked until the first week of December so I can't come til the fourth. Here's hoping I don't need much in the way of alterations as that's 6 weeks before the wedding and there's two holidays in between! What was the point of the rush order? Okay I've ranted... thanks for listening

So we have been going back and forth between hiring a photographer in Jamaica vs. bringing someone with us. And sure enough in my procrastinator way I leave it until the last minute! Well actually we recently got a really good deal on the last two seats on our plane.
So here’s my new dilemma, I’ve got two photographers on the hook. This first in my second cousin, we’re not that close but still family and she is going to do our wedding/TTD etc. for her $1000 seat of the plane. Problem is she’s an amateur, does really nice portraits, but her wedding portfolio is lacking. I know that I will be giving her a chance of a life time, (Website for comparrison http://www.wix.com/maloriew/mw-photography ).. but….
The other photographer is a wife and husband team, they do amazing work (this is who originally wanted but was out of the budget) Now that we have these cheap seats my FI has agreed to up the budget to $2000 so that they can come. (FYI here’s there website, I love love love them! http://samanthaerinphotography.com/blog/ ).
I’ve been really conscious about budget and really have been planning this weeding on shoestrings, but do I really want to skimp out on photography? I know all the brides are going to say no… but really that’s an extra $1000 that I could use to beef up our OOT bags and flowers etc. etc. etc.
I just don’t know! Then there’s the part about letting down the cousin, and having to tell her, she doesn’t get her big break… another more experienced photographer gets the deal.
Help!!
Thanks
Jamie

I bough Waterproof Labels from http://www.etsy.com/transaction/61195201 to be placed on our mugs.
I haven;t got them yet, so I'm not sure of the quality/durability, but shes says they are the same material as bumper stickers so they have to work!
I'll give an update and pictures of course when their in.I also ordered some waterproof labels that can be printed at home from Creative Lables before I found the ones above. I will probably use them for Shot Glass favours.
