    We will be registering, as we will be having bridal showers and an AHR. This is largely because we are just starting our life together and our families want to contribute.

    We are doing the same, We thought the guys would use the bags themselves, but are still giving them to the single gents so we have something to put everything in! The kids are getting their own as well, I'm trying to find a cheap beachy back pack maybe clear or something like that. We are also not making everyone identical, but putting thing in that that each person would enjoy. The general stuff like key holders and resort/island info. will be included in everyones.

    And I thought your TTD pics were good,These are amazing, you look beautiful! I am getting married at the sister resort in Ocho Rios, and was worried about the grounds and how the pictures would look, if it's anything like the Montego Bay resort, I think we're good!

    My cousin is just starting out in photography she will be shooting our "engagement" photos and I am planning on doing a "post" wedding shoot, that is if my dress with stands the TTD shoot in Jamaica!

    Does anyone know for sure if Canadians have to get the long form of our birth certificate to get maried in Jamaica? I've read a few places that they have to have your parents information which is only included on the long form. Thanks! Jamie

    Michelle, you need to find a travel agent that specializes in destination weddings. We are really lucky my Travel agent has done 125 destination weddings, she is also a friend of the family so she is doing so much extra for us! Normally she doesn't do the wedding coordination, but she is for us! Because she has done so many, she know the ins and outs of the industry and how to get what we want.

    Where are you getting the rum cakes from? Oriental Trading has some good deals on their bags right now, I'm buying the tropical Hibiscus print that come in multi colours 12 for $10, I think it's a pretty good deal.

    What I am finding is that my OOT bags are going to costs us a fortune! We now have 80 ppl booked. I really wanted to give them something to show our appreciation for travelling so far. I am only including practical items as well, but also things that will make their stay a little bit more enjoyable such as pool/beach toys, games etc. Th eonly think that we are going to personalize is our Travel mugs, but that may cahnge, as a gather more ideas from the rest of the brides here!
