  1. We are using our postcards as a guest book. We will put postage on them but as the instructions say below, don't mail them till you're back home! We will also have postcards for our AHR guest book, they will just be slightly different (not designed yet).
  2. You will have to check with the municipality that you want to get married at. You will probably have to book an appointment but they may provide witnesses for you. The document can not be post dated because it is a legal document. I work for a municipality north of TO and complete the Marriage Licences and book the marriage commissioner, if you have any question you can PM me but I think your best bet is to call Toronto City Hall or one of the surrounding municipalities, they will tell you what their policies are. Good Luck!
  3. I had to check mine! It does say "Soused" thank god cause I made 100 of them already! But I think if I were to do it over it would be "Sauced"!
  4. We were expecting maybe 25 ppl to come, but that's what you get when you send out 200 Save the dates! We are very fortunate to have such good family and friends who want to be with us for our wedding. Not a teacher, but it would be nice to have the summer off! I like your idea of the real touch bridesmaids bouquets, I'm in the same boat.
  5. If you are not a Beyond the Rack member already, you should sign up! Badgley Mischkas on Sale Monday! Won't know the styles till then.
  6. Your "Passports" look great! Thanks for the tip on the starfish, Iwas going to buy them from Oriental Trading but this is a way better deal! Do you remeber the seller? Thanks!
  7. Beach Bum, What are the little things in the corner that hold the passes together? And where did you get them from? Thanks!
  8. I am not looking forward to my new last name for several reasons: 1. It's silly I will be Mrs. Brain next year, but if it's good enough for my FI and our future children, it's good enough for me. 2. My maiden name is a well recognized family name in my area, which has benefited me over the years. 3. I will have to be Wilkie-Brain about a year so that peers and colleagues get used to the new name. So iN light of the above...I've already established myself as the future Mrs. "B"
  9. I want to see them with date and location! You can have more than 1 monogram as long as they are all alike. It's all about branding. We put our Monogram on everything!
  10. We are also doing all colours! We couldn't decide on one or a few, and I designed our invites using a clip art image, tropical and multi coloured. My BMs are wearing tropical red.
  11. Celticgirl, I love the ring!! It's so different! I too have to get my band made, but not quite sure what I want to do with it. Now, where did you get that dress!! I checked out the designers website and the closest one to me is in TO. I will travel but would prefer to buy online, if possible.
  12. @amjohnson, We are Date Twins! I just went to check our count down 153 days left to go!
  13. Congrats on your nuptuals R! Thanks for todays DIY post! I think I speak for everyone when I say we miss your daily posts, but understand why you can't. I find that I still come to your thread to see what you've been up to!
  14. We stayed at the Palladium last year and loved it! We wanted to get married there but chose the Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios instead. The price is quite a bit lower which allowed alot more of our friends and family to come.
  15. @amjohnson, we put welcome letter, postcards (to be used as guest book) and photshare instruction, all from vistaprint. The Keycard/Tip holder is a must. We included inflatable beach toys and floats, crossword books, decks of cards and tracel games to name a few. We have quite a large group going so we need to keep cost down, each bag will be slightly differnt in the goodies it includes but each will be somewhat personalized with what the individual likes, ie. beer pong for cousin, sudoku for aunt etc...
  16. I got all the groomsmen outfit last week from Old Navy, Beige Linen Pants, White Linen Shirt, all for $40! FI is wearing the White Linen Pants from Old Navy, but to my dismay, already wore his wedding shirt! Now I have to find one for hime before all the summer clothes are gone!
  17. Can you post a picture of what the luggage tags look like? Thanks!
  18. Tori, one thing to remeber about using the BM bouquets as center pieces is that if you are using real flowers they will be wilted by the end of the day,
  19. We are not bring down too many decorations because we won't have anywhere to decorate! We are doing a catermaran cocktail reception instead of the regular sit down dinner. We figured we're in Jamaica why not do something different, something we can't do here in Canada! On the down side, everyone will be doing their own thing for dinner so I'm not sure how that will go, who will want to eat with us... we may opt to dinner by ourselves, recap the days events and then to the disco to meet back up with everyone! Jamie
  20. Rachel, Where did you get the bottles and the boxes, How much did they cost? I love this idea, and It makes me want to hand deliver them! Jamie
  21. Walmart has them at a good price (I think There was a post on this thread a while back) I got mine on Ebay great price but took awhile to get.
  22. The Luggage Tags are free too?! Did they tell you what edition you are getting?
