We chose the Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios, It's more of a party resort, or so my Travel Agent tells us. Hopefully it all works out. I haven't had much luck with the Wedding Coordinator down there.
As for my Profile pic, It took me a while, there are lots of threads about how to create your own logo using PPT, Word, Etc. They should be under the DIY section.

One other note, when you are deciding what resort, don't put too much weight on the reviews from Trip Advisor or sites like it. PPl are more apt to complain than compliment.
Sukie is right check out the reviews here, They are honest, and you'll get tonnes of great ideas!

Congratulations Krysta!
If you have never been to Jamaica, it is amazingly beautiful!
I have a few things you may want to consider:
I have been to the Palladium, it is beautiful, well kept and very high class. If you are looking for a quite relaxing and intimate wedding week, this is the place for you. We saw wedings at the Spa (Elegant) and Beach (Fun). The two receptions were very different, and I'm not sure of the costs. One was on the volley ball sand, they set up seet walls with lights on them to make it more private, and the other was on the beach with a band and a bon fire.
We were considering this resort, but we wanted as many of friends and family to come at the price is a little higher than the other options. I may be kicking myself for this decision in January, 86 ppl coming....so far!
Our travel agent advised against the RUI because of unsatisfied customers, and one of the major tour providers in Canada recently dumped them from their roster for this reason. I have never stayed at any RUIs, and a friend liked the one in Ocho Rios when she went there in 2009.
Hope that helps a little.
Good luck!

i'm glad you like the font on the reserved signs...uhm, the font is one that i downloaded from dafont.com..not sure which one right now..but i'll PM it to you when i get back on my laptop...i wanted something a little different for those.
glad you like the table..i'm pretty excited about incorporating my love of Scrabble into it..now i just have to go and purchase a few more games so i can raid them for the game pieces...lol!

I think It's more about a waterproof thing.
I know that when we have been away it the past tip money has gotten wet, key/towel cards lost, so this way everything is in one spot when your sitting at the swim up bar

I know this is sort of a stupid question, I have read tons of threads about ideas and inspirations and was sold but when I went to explain it to FI and my mom I just couldn't explain why people wouldn't slip it in their beach bag or pocket.....
Would people still use the holder but put THAT in their bag or pocket or do they definitely wear it around their wrist all the time?!
Any insight would be super appreciated!!!!!!!

Thanks

Hello All!
I'm putting all of my OOT goodies together and, well, I'm running out of money!
I have 86 ppl booked so far, and there are still more to come!
In order to save some $, I've decided not to put first aid kits in everyones bag, but instead have a large kit with everything that anyone might need.
What I'm looking for is a cute and cheaky "Nurse's Note" that tells our guests who to see for drugs, potions, and minor surgery . But I'm not a great writer.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Jamie

Great idea!
I think I'm going to use this one, but I've got to make 100!

I vote for the blue ones. Your dress already has a whole lot of flair, It think the simplness of the style and the colour of the blue ones compliments it nicely.

We are using the postcards as a guest book. On the back I put our address and on the left side "A note to the Newlyweds...".
We also included an instruction postcard which out says what we are using them for and to send us their fondest memory of the two of us, Their favorite memory of the trip or words of wisdom. I am very excited to see what they will write!
