Wow Coco! Everything was fantastic!!! You looked georgous! We are so excited! We are leaving Monday and getting married on Friday at Cancun Palace! I cant believe its finally here! I will be back with a full report!

Im getting married at Cancun Palace in 13 days. My family has stayed there before and has nothing but good things to say. I know it is deffinatly family friendly and will give a full report when I get back! I feel confindent that although the name is changing, the service and hotel will still be wonderful! Good luck!

Here is my short dress! Im so excited! Some of the girls at my work bought it for me. I feel so loved! It should be here any day! I hope it looks good on me!

I have the same dress!!!! I bought one first and then couldnt get my mind off the Adorea!!! It looks like Ladydi has the same dress too!! So does Jamie!!! And this girl I work with, she got it too! The wonderfull thing about that dress is that it looks good on EVEYRONE that puts it on! It is MAGICAL!!!! Im down to 50 something days and CAN NOT wait! My bridal shower/ Bachlorette party is NEXT weekend! IM SOOO EXCITED! Oh and i got my rings sized last weekend, so now my ring wont slip off my finger! Love this tread and all the information on it!

Mine are VERY similar to these ones and the ones above. I get them hopefully at the end of this month! I cant wait!! I love the peacock feather!! I tried to get my FI to go with that and he wouldnt! LOL Its beautiful! You girls shoud post your centerpieces on the centerpiece thread. There arent a lot of this style. So excited for you girls!

Yes, im going to take a cab. I guess the hair stylist has a salon there, so we are all going there! Both of our weddings are right around the corner! HOORAY!!!

I am FINALLY in contact with someone from Cancun Palace directly and she has been a GREAT help! The first thing she told me was that it was $200 to set up the ceremony if you bring your own decorations and $100 a table for the set up of dinner. Although, she did tell me that included doing everything from name tags, wedding favors, centerpieces, chair bows etc.... Since I was just going to bring my own linens and centerpieces, I asked her if there was a way to discount that price OR if I can just have my own people set up.... She didn’t answer me on us setting up ourselves but she did say she would see if we could get a lower set up fee. I feel for you girls that bought your own stuff already, as I did, cause now I think I’m going to HAVE to let Zuniga do it all for me. I’m doing the complementary package for the ceremony . Remember ladies, they charge you like $2,300 JUST for the ceremony. None of that stuff goes into the dinner/reception, so I ask you, is it worth that much money for maybe 30min!? I also found out that the Dj they use is jsav productions.... The ipod/speaker set up for 2 hours is $395. This does not come with anyone to do announcements etc. The next step up is Dj service for 2 hours for $1,00 OR $1,495 for 4 hours. Personally what we are doing is Mariachi for the cocktail hour, $480 and then the ipod set up for the dinner, which is 2 hours..... Since they don’t allow the party to go past 11, we aren’t doing a "reception" at the resort, but going to a club after dinner! Should be fun! Any ways, just wanted to let you guys know what I found out. I’m in direct contact getting all the details ironed out so if anyone has a question, feel free to let me know and I’ll try to help! There is a lady who started a page on face book that is "Palace resort brides past present and futute"... I have heard some of this info off that page. For the most part I get all the info from you girls, which is very helpful and thats why I post just making sure that what I understand to be correct, is.... Im not going to worry about the additional charge for the ceremony being for more than 35 people.... As far as the room goes... Did you book with Palace Resorts directly? My TA didnt tell me anythign about paying for the room up front. She just recieved an email on this... So we will see what she says. Thank you! Yes, I origionally wanted the upgraded chivarri chairs but after seeing that they were going to charge me not only for the chairs at the ceremony with a total of $350, but also charge me the $350 AGAIN for the dinner, I decided that I would just stick to the chairs that are FREE!!! LOL Who doesnt love FREE!!! And Jamie..... Thank you for your response too!!! As always thank you all for your posts and i cant wait to see how all your weddings turn out!!! Im getting close myself!
