We're getting married at OCT on December 14, 2011 and I find your comments really useful (especially regarding the electricity, photographer, etc.). Definitely handy to know before we leave. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I know a few people personally that have been to that resort and they really enjoyed it.

Me too!! The rooftop ceremony sounds so exciting. When I heard about it, it seemed so intriguing! I haven't decided where we will have ours yet. We just booked for December 14, 2011. Have a blast! Hey all!! I've been searching for a place to have our destination wedding and when our travel agent suggested this one we had a look and it seems perfect for us. The price is very reasonable and the resort is beautiful. I'm so thankful for this forum and all of your comments, experiences and feedback. We are planning on getting married sometime the first week of December 2011 with guests leaving from Edmonton and Ottawa. A couple of questions I have are: 1) Has anyone experienced the rooftop wedding? 2) How bad is the seaweed? I keep seeing comments about it and I'm slightly concerned. 3) Does anyone have any pictures they could send to me at [email protected] or that I could view on FB - Abby Villeneuve (I think there are a couple but in my pic I'm wearing a coral coloured dress. 4) Do the wedding packages come with photographer (doesn't specify in the package I was sent) as well as centrepieces?
