So the Bridezilla came out! My appointment was scheduled at 5pm the day I arrived and after sitting in the Lobby waiting for my appointment, it was never scheduled for that time. They told me it was scheduled for the next morning at 11am. I had already planned excursions so this was not going to work. I had emails supporting that time but they had a wedding to attend. Understandable but I have also made other plans. After being frustrated with them, I sat in the lobby waiting for the other guests to arrive and thankfully they came and found me to go ahead and do appointment. Day of the wedding I went out shopping and came back to find another location set up. Pictures are little deceiving. I wanted Fuentes which looks a like lot presidential. I asked them to change it. They had not hung the flowers yet so I figured it would be an easy fix but instead she argued that it was what I signed for. They end up fixing it after I started to get a little snappy. I even offered to pay to change. The ceremony was very nice, I can't wait to see the pictures. Our cake was served at the cermony which I didn't like because it was melted and the wrong flavor. We didn't get a chance to have any besides what we fed each other because of the time with our photographer. I was happy with everything so please don't take this as if I was dissapointed. Just wanted to share a few things that could go wrong. I strongly suggest taking a folder with emails. I did break them out a few times. I am not quite sure who everyone is using but we used destinationweddings.com. We had a lot of changes with the rooms and guests and unfortunately the Hotel did not receive those. I had guests arriving and stuck in the lobby for an hour while they tried to fix things. I strongly suggest communicating a final list of rooms and guests. I did and there was still a mix up. This could help with issues especially if guests are flying in at different times. In the end the resort was fabulous!!! My husband puts it up there with our Colorado trips which is shocking becuase he is not a water kind of guy. I miss saying Hola to everyone and the service was the best I ever had! Now on tipping with took $150.They deserved every dollar of it. We even left a note with extra tip money for Eddy one of the shuttle drivers. He was awesome! I noticed a lot of non American's that didn't tip. They work 6 days a week so if you can imagine they work hard for their money. If you have any questions let me know!

MAC helped me when some this weekend and they gave me some wonderful tips. She actually cut them to fit my eyes as well! I was going to buy another set and she said no need they last when you take them off if you take care of them! I am absolutely in love with them! -
Thank you for the hugs! I am trying to keep my head up because I know I am about to marry the man of my dreams and have a wonderful vacation! Did you happen to schedule your dinner yet? When I tried a few months ago there were no available times (times available were 6pm and 9pm, my wedding was 6pm) so we had to do a private dinner. I was bummed at first but now I am excited to have the privacy and convience of service.

I went to MAC this weekend and had my makeup done and it looked great. I already use MAC so I was very familiar with their products. It was just nice to have someone else do my makeup. The great thing was that she helped me find a liquid foundation that would help with the humidity and highlighter that will help with highlighting my eyes. In the end I spent a little over $200 on new products but the way I look at it is I would of paid $90 on someone else doing it and this way I walked away with makeup I can always use! -
I was going to bring my own centerpieces but Valeria suggested taking the flowers from the ceremony gazebo and using them as centerpieces. Justifies me spending 120.00 on flowers in two different locations. I wanted to decorate chairs as well but I took to long trying to find sashes. I am toting fans down there for the guests with our programs. Not sure if I wanna assemble here or in Mexico.
