Hi Ladies, Just wanted to remind everyone that Bath & Body Works still has an amazing sale going on. I picked up the mini hand sanitzers for .50 and small lotions for $1.25. The sale is 50% - 75% off selected items. AND...the guy at the counter gave me an extra $10 off because I spent $30......many of the fragrances were for the fall & winter....But.....I was lucky to find a fragrance called "Charmed Life"....what is so special about this one you ask? Well....our wedding colors are Turquoise, Yellow & Fuschia.....AND...the lotion bottle had a little ring on it....and the bottles are Turquoise!!! Ok...I am a little too excited....woooo...ok....I'll calm down.... I will post pictures later....I'm at wotk....and you guys are really the only people who care what OOT bags are and what I am buying for them....so..... Hi ladies.... Just wanted to give my 2 cents about this topic....I have just finished writing out the envelopes for our save the dates...We sent an electronic STD with all the travel info and I had not planned on sending "official" invites until people booked. Well My honey and I decided to order very basic STD & matching invitations from vistaprint. I could not wrap my mind around spending 100's on an invite that #1. people will throw away & #2. people wont respond too. The STD will go out tomorrow and I am sending the invitations in about 2 or 3 weeks. I have given an RVSP date of March 1...just to get an idea....but chances are...people will book after that date...I agree with everyone's comments on how frustrating it is to wait.... Only my parents have booked so far (along with us and my daughter of course). At the end of the day ladies, its about us and our soon to be husbands. I'm sure people will respond in their own time. WoooooooooSaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ladies!

As I sit here on the first day of 2012, I realize that I only have 185 days until I walk down the aisle. While I am anxious to become Mrs. JQ Long....I am a little scared about pulling everything together.... I prayed for him on New Years Day 2008....and here we are four years later....he will become my husband!!

My camera is acting a little wacky (hint-hint)...maybe my honey will get me a new one for the wedding. Anywho...the quality is great. I would also suggest ordering the FREE bridal kit. They send samples of some different invitations, magnets & STDs. You are able to feel the different paper textures...i.e. linen, premium matte finish, etc. I was very impressed. WOOTY WOOT-WOOT!!! I have stalked the Vistaprint site for close to a year now....loving the amazing things you ladies have ordered....anxiously awaiting when it would be my turn to get some neat stuff... Well...ladies....let me tell you..... I ordered the following: 30 Save the Dates: Free 30 Plain Envelopes 30 Matching Envelopes: $11.49 1 Customized t-shirt: Free 1 Customized t-shirt: $8.99 Total with taxes & shipping = $26.63!!! Now...we still have over 9 months before our wedding so I was not in a true rush to get the items (yes I was....but had to act like I was not too pressed....my honey was there as I ordered)...so I opted for the "slow" option to get the items in 21 days..... I ordered on Monday.....got an email that the ordered was shipped early on Tuesday........ I got my order today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree 100% My fiance and I have decided not to put our parents names on the invitations. At the end of the day....there will be other things to fuss about....Call your Mom and talk with her...often hearing things through the "telephone" makes it much worse. Good Luck.

Great colors! Mine are turquoise, yellow & fuchsia (recently added). This past Easter, I was fortunate enough to find these awesome little yellow pails at Target .27!!! I was so excited I bought 40 of them. It was an after Easter sale and I went crazy. I also bought some card stock for really cheap in the same colors. Now that my wedding has been pushed forward, I have another Easter to stalk Target for great stuff!

anudrm.... that is actually a great idea. Problem is....all of the ladies here are so talented. I get new ideas every day.....and I change my mind every other day. I am anxious to get started though. I have found that catching the sales after a holiday (like Easter...) I find awesome trinkety (I like that word) things that I can use. I may start stalking through Michaels & Joannes soon though. Hi there aussie292929... I actually ordered my dress from jasminesbridal and I absolutely love it! I posted pics of my dress and its inspiration on this thread a while back. The customer service was amazing and the quality of the dress is IMPECCABLE! I truly think these designer dress shops get over because the dress could actually be made in China. The designer dress is Pronovias that retails at a ridiculous price. My dress, although simple in comparison to some dresses has amazing detail. PM if you need any additional information!

THE MOJO IS BACK!!!!!! I finally found it! Although it took changing our destination & pushing our date ahead...It's back none the less. As I accomplished many things earlier (my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, my electronic std/invites) I still have my DIY projects to start. But to keep myself from losing the WP MOJO again, I dont plan on starting any DIY until after the holidays. Our wedding will be 6 months from the start of the New Year so that should give us plenty of time. Thanks for the words of encouragement!!!

We have a very small wedding party...only my best girlfriend as my MOH and my 15 y/o daughter as a bridesmaid....Hi best friend as the BM and my brother as his groomsman...Well....his niece is 19 y/o and she is a peanut!!! I always envisioned my daughter being my flowergirl but I didnt think she would be a teenager by the time I got married. Anyway...his niece said as a joke...."I want to be the flower girl"....We laughed thinking....Ok...she is 19 y/o but very tiny....(my daughter is almost a foot taller!!! LOL) that got me to thinking.....I want her in the wedding....so....during a convo with my MOH I thought of Flower-Maiden (sounds better than flower-maid). My MOH and daughter already have their dresses but I told my Flower-Maid....that she can get a dress in the same color any style she wants. Now....I need ideas of something creative to have her carry to "flower" my way down the aisle? Any ideas?
